The civilized world, most especially the literary world, has lately been shocked and devastated by the news of the horrific attack on Indian British author Salman Rushdie in New York. Rushdie had for a long time been the target of a fatwa (religious edict) issued by the late Ayatollah Khomeini in the wake of the publication of Rushdie’s book The Satanic Verses in September 1988. The fatwa had called for Rushdie’s death, and the Iranian government offered over three million dollars to anyone who could carry out that (mis)deed. That was 33 years ago. With the passing of time, along with the Iranian government’s distancing of itself from the fatwa in subsequent years (although it was never revoked), it seems that Rushdie had felt gradually less and less fearful, prompting his subsequent emergence from his long years of hiding. Not only that, but Rushdie had begun to feel so secure and unthreatened that he started to go to various interviews and meetings without any special security to protect him. The German magazine Stern, which had interviewed Rushdie not long before he was attacked, has stated that he had gone to the interview unaccompanied by any personal guards, and that he later stated in his interview with that magazine that his life had become “relatively normal.” It appears that Rushdie followed the same pattern of behaviour when he went to give a lecture at the Chautauqua Institution in New York on the 12^th of August 2022.  According to eyewitnesses, the hall where Rushdie was to deliver the lecture did not have much in the way of security preparation: No bags were searched, and no metal-detection equipment was in place. All people could see was a couple of men- a state trooper and a county sheriff’s deputy- who were apparently providing general crowd-control security, but not much beyond that. Rushdie’s attacker took full advantage of what seemed to be a seriously compromised state of vigilance which resulted in a considerable lapse in the implementation of strict security measures at the said venue. He rushed onto the stage and lunged at the author, stabbing him multiple times, including stabs in the neck and abdomen, before staff and members of the audience finally managed to overpower him.

THE TERRIBLE STATE OF NATIONAL AND GLOBAL POLICING

2. The ungovernable craze for chieftaincy titles. Let every award of chieftaincy title henceforth pass through the Federal Ministry of Culture for scrutiny and approval.

Children brought up without moral boundaries – in other words, a morally borderless generation of Nigeria and the world entire has sprung up without moral boundaries, growing up without the THOU SHALT NOT OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, courtesy of zero parenting and children growing up without the needed foundational messages.
4. General absence of THE NATIONAL MORALITY MODERATOR (NMM) or the NATIONAL MORALITY AND ETHICS MODERATING AGENCY (NMAEMA).
5. The culture of storing wealth by Nigerians, and indeed, Africans for generations yet unborn.
6. Diversity abuse/mismanagement – the example of nepotist/Mujahid Muhammadu Buhari resulting in the ongoing nationwide agitations and many more to come, both now and in the future if dialogue is not embraced now.
7. Paying ransoms during any form of abductions/kidnappings.
8. Existence of official terrorists, abductors, rapists, not necessarily sexual, but national common, hijackers, looters or ‘licensed’ looters, unknown looters, unidentified looters/rogues, pen robbers, thieves, just as you have the so-called prowling unknown/unidentified uniformed/gunmen within the Nigerian system, subversive elements within the entire Nigerian governance at all levels.
9. Absence of national institutions – civil service, national police, military and in all facets of our national life, hence we are running a nation that lacks a sense of belongingness and direction.
10. The Fulbe’s imperialistic and colonial mentality coupled with their eternal penchant for territorial expansion agenda, cultural/linguistic imperialism, political impositionism, economic hijacking and education hostages, thus preparing the grounds for nationwide Islamic education and the total Islamification of the entire country, eventuating in the introduction of a nationwide sharia.
11. The Fulanis’ tendency toward occupation force in the governance of the country, seeing themselves as princess and judges over the rest of the country. Exodus 2:14.
12. The deliberate destruction and wilful destabilization of the brewery economy in Nigeria by the Muslim/Sharia fanatics even when there is acute unemployment in the North as well as in the entire country. The Brewery industry must rise from their deep slumber and punish the whole parasitic, retrogressive, medievalist and retrogressive Sharia North for their folly, crass stupidity, purposeless wickedness, aggressive and unparalleled fanaticism. But did these fanatical Almajirai know Sir Ahmadu Bello set up the Nigeria Breweries Ltd? Then are they to tell the world in destroying this huge economy, they are more pious, and godlier than the Sardauna himself? How are these born parasites to in a highly systematised and networked economy separate the money that comes from the prostitutes, bandits, killer herdsmen, part-time, once in a while and professional rapists, the so-called unknown uniformed/unidentified gunmen, marabouts, pagans, heathens/voodoo priests, armed robbers, fraudsters, the corrupt politicians, who the whole North boast of more than anywhere in Nigeria, and indeed, in the world? Ha-ha! Who is deceiving whom? The very fanatical shariarists who will fill their flasks and kettles with alcohol and take to their hotel/motel/brothel rooms/suites and B&B to gulp/drink with under-age girls/boys, prostitutes, and people’s wives on their laps? If you think the veils – niqabs and hijabs are symbols of piety amongst the Muslim women both in the North and here in the West, pay a visit to hotels/motels/brothels/B&B, and see how the Muslim men do mess around with very fully veiled married Muslim women in these unholy places. And here in the West, just take a visit to pubs and see fully veiled sisters pious how they gyrate like mediums under Bacchic enthusiasm, especially at weekends. And talking about the lifestyles of the Princes and Princesses from the East – UAE? They indulge in lascivious lifestyles here in the West, messing around with some Western women and men, ‘worshiping’ at the feet of LORD BACCHUS in his ‘shrines’ – beer, wine + spirits (BWS) in pubs and return to the East to shout SHARIA! Ha-ha!

It is thus, an unspeakable hypocrisy, act of vandalism, criminal act of indescribable aggression and economic banditry, bestial and ferocious acts of criminality – unforgiveable economic sabotage and an unparalleled intransigence against the state, the jobless, posterity, the toiling Nigerian masses who 24/7 work to produce all products/beverages usually destroyed by Sada’s Sharia North.

And this nonsense has got to stop and stop forthwith it must. The brewery industry is an economy which has the potential capacity of employing millions of Nigerians, particularly our youths, some of who are now in the forests, hills, valleys and inside caves as bandits, jihadists/extremists/Islamists/terrorists/mujahedeen, armed robbers, prostitutes on the streets, on the streets with bowls begging for morsels, courtesy of the Fulani/Hausa supported Almajirai system all over the North just as that world’s notorious International Almajirai-in-Chief, stands at the gates called UGLY 24/7 asking for ‘alms’ from decent world leaders and at the gates of international financial institutions begging for money (loans)!

It is hereby to be proposed that all Sharia North must henceforth be excluded from VAT proceeds and allocations.

O Sada, resolve ye therefore, henceforth NOT to be a very retrogressive emir/Sultan anymore.

O Sada, give me thy North entire and I will green it in a second; and let the Nigerian people give the whole of Nigeria to me and I will green it in two seconds!

Again, Sada must here be reminded that where a constitutionally elected Government is in place even though epileptically, he does not enjoy any statutory right to always declare public holidays. Sada must be reminded that ONLY the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria can so declare public holidays via the Ministry of the Interior.

Sada must stop running a parallel Government in that country. Presidency, take note!

And a letter must be written to warn the Sultan over this his unbecoming behaviour. Once the moon has been sighted, Sada’s only role is to write to the Ministry of Interior who alone can declare public holidays on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Nigerian people.

Lest I forget, Sada was wrong not to have reported deaths to appropriate authorities to be reflected/entered into the national data base.

17. Increasing uncertainties of life in Nigeria, arising from especially, the current Nigerian tragedy, coupled with global uncertainties.

27. Tribal/regional/cultural/religious pressure groups in a hyper-sensitive, hyper-eruptive, hyper inflammable and hyper combustible polity like Nigeria.
28. The invasion of the newsroom and pages of newspapers/magazines and the social media by Hungry or Butter activists issuing press releases to endorse or warn opponents about one thing or another just to boost their ego, after they have given journalists kobo-kobo.
29. The hijacking of public spaces by commercial militants and separatists/insurrectionists.
30. The dumbing down of public debate such that national spaces have been hijacked by Igboho X, OPC X, IPOB X, Mc Oluomo, Dokubo X and such others!
31. Activities of ritualists who are patronised by those looking for quick wealth and fame, and such patronage by pastors, clerics, politicians, Nollywood actors/actresses, and others; lawyers, judges, traders, businessmen and women, cultists, motorists, traditional rulers, students, prostitutes, etc., involving human sacrifices and mouth watery money.
32. Fake prophets who have hijacked the pages of the newspapers in Nigeria, prophet-lying by issuing fake prophecies 24/7 after having giving journalists kobo-kobo. This is nothing but SPIRITUAL TERRORISM, SPIRITUAL BANDITRY, SPIRITUAL POLLUTION, SPIRITUAL CORRUPTION!
33. Activities of the so-called unknown uniformed gunmen, unidentified gunmen, etc, who in fact, are local and foreign jihadists prosecuting GLOBAL JIHAD in Nigeria in collusion with international jihadists/mujahedeen…THE TALIBANIZATION OF NIGERIAGHANISTAN just as in TALIBANGHANISTAN in Central Asia (Afghanistan).
34. Spiritual tyranny of Christian and Muslim leaders.
35. Activities of the officials of the NURTW in crimes ranging from hired killing or contracting their lieutenants, including bus conductors to kill their rivals, kill for politicians with fees ranging from N100, 000+++, rigging elections (BALLOT BOX SNATCHERS - BBS) for politicians, ‘preying’ on money which ought ordinarily to be collected by the LG officials, with such levies going into Local Government purses normally, but this has not been the case in Nigeria any more.
36. The menace of cattle rustlers in and around the country.
37. The criminal activities of foreign herders entering the country to graze illegally and without having their animals quarantined on entry into the country nor the foreign herders themselves, who in fact, are jihadists/mujahedeen in pastoralists clothing – accessing the country, courtesy of border porosity and Muhammadu Buhari – Rauf Aregbesola’s free visa policy!
38. The bizarre competition for headlines by ego centrists with fragile egos, political parties, tribal NGOs, POLIGEOZONAL NGOs which in most cases, are NOT registered, so illegal with their activities or unguarded utterances of their founders or so-called spokespersons heating up the polity.
39. Absence of strategic national security and defence policy (SNSDP).
40. Absence of post-Covid strategic national defence and security policy (PC-SNDSP).
41. Putting undue pressure on the boys fighting the jihadi criminal family – Boko, bandits, rapists (population/biological jihadists), Fulani killer shepherds and kidnappers can lead to disastrous consequences of the boys being fatigued beyond measure and under such atmosphere of undue pressures be forced to open fire indiscriminately on the first object/s on their radars – groups of persons, an individual or on any human habitation.
42. The volatility of persons regarded by the author as walking super-eruptive ‘volcanoes’ – persons with fragile egos and very short and uncontrollable fuse/temper.

In Nigeria, everybody is, and can be a contractor, especially Government contractors, from Area Boys/Girls/ballot boxes snatchers to traditional rulers without an iota knowledge of or having experience of construction in any least way whatsoever or having knowledge of/in the built environment without the NSE/COREN and the relevant association/s of the registered professional contractors or construction professionals generally speaking, raising an eye brow – no wonder, the worrisome number of building failures and abandoned projects that dots the nation’s land scape! We have in our midst people who just because they are connected to any Government in power (AGIP) are given contracts by the Government/s to construct schools, bridges, build business/retail parks/plazas/centres only to sell such contracts to the highest bidders, who will resell – and those to whom the contract had been sold would also resell and keep reselling until such a project is never built or constructed, but at the Ministry of Works, files for such projects would have this message/inscription about the same project thus: PROJECT/S COMPLETED. I am here writing as a former editor of Environment, Property, Real Estate and Development in some newspapers in Nigeria and worked very closely with the Ministries of Works and Housing/Environment at both the state and Federal levels. Sometimes, where such projects are constructed, say roads, be there – Trunks “A”, “B” or “C”, are washed away by the first light rainfall! Or if buildings, say school buildings, would collapse whilst lessons are ongoing, killing pupils/students and their teachers – Lateef Kayode Jakande’s chicken sheds, for example… NAIJA WE HAIL THEE!
44. Loquacious presidential aides without national consciousness and cultural sensitivities. We are hereby suggesting that since it is now the incurable habits of Mr Lying Lai Mohammed and those shameless presidential aides always lying and fooling the Nigerian people and the world that the President “Says”, when in fact, he has not said anything, always notoriously lying against the President in the name of the PRESIDENT SAID…; all press releases from ALL the so-called Presidential aides, all now competing as the PRESIDENTS OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND THE GOVERNMENT PARTY, must now pass through the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President so as to be personally vetted by Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari before being made available to the press in Nigeria or the global media or better still, through the Office of the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA to be personally vetted by Vice President Oluleke Osinbanjo or through the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to be personally vetted by Boss Mustapha or the Office of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Aisha Buhari, sorry, AISHA DUBAI, even if she has equally relocated her office to Dubai to be personally vetted by her, for at the end of day, whilst all those very irresponsible and COME CHOP Presidential aides (CCPAs) will lie, heat up the polity and if without any intervention from any person in that country since the country is currently experiencing a state of NO GOVERNMENT, NO GOVERNANCE AND NO GOVERNMENT PARTY in place, might lead Nigeria to war, courtesy of their lies and propaganda to earn their kobo-kobo, it is the entire MUHAMAMADU BUHARI FAMILY that will forever live with the shame and embarrassment of this time.

What is more lamentable, the hitherto very respected FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND CULTURE has been reduced by that lying Lai Mohammed (LLM) who has done the most damage to the Nigerian integrity, national morality and national standards to the now MINISTRY OF LYINGFORMATION, PROPAGANDA AND ‘SHIORKOR. But why does the President of any serious nation need a GARRISON OF LIARS as his official spokespersons, especially in a super-sensitive, super-eruptive and highly inflammable/combustible polity like Nigeria?

All the so-called Presidential aides of Muhammadu Buhari combined have brought untold international shame and embarrassment to the nation and done irreparable damage to the image of Nigeria through their often resort to lie-telling, unparalleled propaganda, abuse, vulgarity, tyranny, dictatorship, agberoism, aggressive, bestial bolekajaism and threats in official communication, especially from that ideally speaking, the most trusted and exalted office in any democracy, even the Presidency.

As a matter of fact, with a reliable and responsible FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND CULTURE, together with having a FEDERAL MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND CULTURE with character, integrity, honesty and national consciousness/sensitivity, a nation does not need such robotic, loquacious and very irresponsible parrots that have all turned themselves to a VICIOUS AND PURPOSELESS GARRISON, whose GARRISON COMMANDERS prowl the streets of the REPUBLIC with koboko, bulala and dagger – or should I say, ‘AK-47’ to whip to shape, the already hunger and poverty-stricken Nigerians and “shoot on sight” any “dog and baboon”, especially such as failed to obtain “clearance” before going to work on their farms!

Undoubtedly, under the current state of lamentable affairs in which the Nigerian state has been forced into the state of nature, rogue and failed state, axis of violence and a nation perpetually at war, the trio of Garba Shehu, Femi Adesina, and the DISHONOURABLE MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND ‘SHIORKOR, Lying Mohammed have constituted themselves into an ignominious TRIUMVIRATE that now rules Nigeria!

It is this writer’s candid suggestion that whenever the nation comes out of the mess into which they have put her – ALL POLITICAL CONFUSION (APC) and ALL PEACE CANCELLED - APC), the present Presidential Press Corp composing appointed individuals must be scrapped, and a new Presidential Press Corp which will report the activities and actual statements (and not having any egocentrists putting words any more in the mouth of MR PRESIDENT) of the PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA should be constituted and be a Department of the FEDERAL MINSITSRY OF INFORMATION AND CULTURE, and should either be based in the Presidency or in the Ministry’s Head office in Abuja, consisting of the best brains in Nigerian journalism, and of the rank of editors, all of whom will statutorily report the Presidency with the Minister of Information and Culture acting as the Government’s Editor-in-Chief or a new title such as MINISTER OF INFORMATION, CULTURE AND EDITOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION be created, retaining its natural statutory responsibilities, in addition to reporting, writing and vetting all news coming from the Presidency – and thereafter, issue press releases to the media and sign as PRESIDENCIAL PRESS CORP (PPC) or by the HONOURABLE MINISTER OF INFORMATION, CULTURE & EDITOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION!

WHAT SAYS THE PRESIDENT?

But just what has the President said?

Nothing!

Yet they said he said. So, what really did Mr President say or has he said?

The President did not say nothing, nor has he said anything, yet they said he said.

Then the President is either dead or alive, and if alive, deaf and dumb.

But is the President a robot, dolomite, marionette, or a puppet?

And if the President is not dead, let him then speak directly to the people or face the nation and address the people himself by himself.

45. Zero service culture, hence every Nigerian/African is a big man or woman – everyone wants to be served and no one wants to serve the other person. But the great lesson in servant-leadership is that they who want to be served must first of all learn to serve and serve well they must! And all who want to be great must first learn how to serve. But should Nigerians appointed/elected to public offices henceforth swear by –

• THE BIBLE
• OR THE KORAN?

57. Proliferation of NGOs, tribal militia, ethnic and regional organizations.

59. Jet and Internet Age info-(con)stipation.

The growing cult of EXECUTIVE ALMAJIRAI (beggars), who having become unemployable after leaving senior level political appointments such as ministers turn themselves into NATIONAL NUISANCES, loitering around the corridors of power, and moving from one Government House to another, begging, but disguise as PROJECTS INSPECTORS.
61. Widespread culture of domestic violence rooted in outdated indigenous and religious cultures.

Ordinarily, it would not have been a problem in a mature democracy if the President dies, but in Nigeria, due to the aforesaid regional tribal consciousness, it was a very big problem that unarguably pushed Nigeria to the brink when Umoru Musa Yar’Adua died in office in 2007, and it has so remained till date as some die-hard regionalists and tribal bigots are still saying the North did not complete its term as Goodluck Ebele Jonathan his natural successor, constitutionally speaking, in order to resolve the crisis at the time, was sworn in under the “Doctrine of Necessity” to complete the remainder years and went ahead to do another 4 year-term, which has been parochially and provincially regarded as the turn of the South South! If it is perceived to be a problem under the current arrangement in the constitution that the successor of a dead President would be his Vice President, in the new constitution the issue of a successor based on parochial and provincial politicking of turn by turn Plc, could become an entrenched provision in the constitution that if the President dies and still like Yar’Adua has some more years to complete, someone from his region/zone or ethnic nationality can be elected in an emergency election/arrangement to replace the dead President who did not complete his tenure before his time, instead of the current arrangement in the constitution whereby his Vice President is expected to succeed him. And the pretty Yoruba girl firing back, would clap her hands jokingly calling the attention of her friends: “…e wa wo Okoro yi…ewa wo omo Calabar yi, oni oma fe mi mu mi lo si ilu won…oshi oda. Hun-hun, do you think I’m that cheap?”

The matter stopped there, even if it was in a situation of ‘disagreement’.

How I wish all that is befalling the nation today is a sort of jaw-jaw as I have reminisced in the above boyish and girlish ‘joking-dispute’!

But from this side of the Atlantic, I can see that my people are not only speaking in tongues with no one listening nor understanding the other person, but with AK-47 and bombs, and may it not degenerate to a situation of using MOABs, as already the food blockade of 50 years ago was re-enacted recently!
