“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

  • William Shakespeare.

MC Oluomo…in charge and in control.

Usman Alkali Baba and the untaming of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s private ‘army’…sooner or later what BAT and his ‘army’ will bring upon our Nigeria is pregnant.

Baba without proactive policing….in power and neither in charge nor in control. Not good value for money!

Behold, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the originator of TINUBU CROW and the man who has been putting a sword on the things that hold us (the nation) together.

Tinubu Crow just like Jim Crow is the mindless exploitation of those at the zero rung of the ladder of the nation - the louts (Area Boys and Girls), particularly in the South West, telling them even if the “Yibos” (Ndigbo) have “taken everything”, including land from them -  as sons and daughters of the soil, they in fact, own everything the “Yibos”, including their shops, which at will they can burn and cart aways their goods, with Baba and his officers playing the bystander role.

Whilst Buhari, Akiolu and Baba turn the other way, the gospel of ONILEISM, which this writer has called TINUBU CROW is spreading all over the nation like a wildfire in the harmattan.

Even it is learnt from this side of the Atlantic that that diminutive mortal and Apostle of Tinubu Crow, Ben Ayade-Kim Jung Un is already aggressively pursuing and promoting that inhuman and very ungodly ‘gospel’ of expelling the “Yibos” from the home state of this writer, Cross River State, for the self-same reason in the SW that the “enemies” – the “Yibos” made APC lose the just concluded PE in some states.

And from far off Ekiti, idle plastic Peteru (Peter Fayose), hoping for a ministerial or ambassadorial appointment, political rehabilitation, and in an attempt to escape the wrath of the EFCC has landed in OUR LAGOS, not their Lagos to provide an answer to the ongoing raging question: WHO OWNS LAGOS, an exercise meant to pit the louts, not the Yorubas, against the “Yibos.”

My Ndigbo brethren must whilst this provocation against them is ongoing, not forget that this war drum is solely coming from the camp of the ALL POLITICAL CROOKS (APC), their chieftains and their political egrets, and not proper Yorubas, the very people who kept/oversaw and returned all their properties to them after the 30-month civil war.

But just wondering why (the) BAT never faces the sky nor the earth, better still, neither looks up to the sky (heaven), the abode of God nor the earth, the home of man?

Finally, does any Nigerian out there know why Nigerians are so much in love with 1962 and 1966?

May God deliver us and our nation from Tinu’s ‘army’.

“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

  • William Shakespeare.

You must not burn this house,

‘cos it’s our house and our only place of abode.

You must not burn this house

‘cos it belongs to all Nigerians,

You must not burn this house

‘cos all of us own it, and we are all

its landlords and caretakers.

You must not burn this house

‘cos we are all its inheritors,

stakeholders, co-owners, and equal joiners.

You must not burn this house

‘cos it’s our only shelter and habitation.

You must not burn this house

‘cos it’s the only place we shall all run into,

Come rain, come shine,

And anytime we are threatened.

You must not burn this house

‘cos this is where our children

in the uttermost part of the world,

far off lands and the ends of the earth -

the places of their sojourning presently

will return to roost in the evening.

And here, here is where they sure will find peace

and harmony just like our fathers

who bequeathed to us this our very house.

You must not burn this house

‘cos this is our only home on this planet earth

And because we all helped put it up!

NIGERIAN AND PROUD!

BY JOHN ODEY ADUMA

Nigeria is our fatherland,

And I ‘ll shelter here and you too will shelter here.

I will live here, and you too will live here

Because I’m Nigerian and proud

And because you too are Nigerian and proud!

I’m a Nigerian just like you

And you are a Nigerian just like me.

I ‘ll live here unthreatened, and you too

Will live here unthreatened,

Neither stranger nor alien.

I’ll live here ‘cos this is my native land,

And you will live here ‘cos it’s your native land,

With neither issuing the other quit notice anymore!

Nor thinking the other a robot,

Whether in the North or South,

Southwest or Southeast,

Northwest or Northeast

And North Central or South South!

So, you must live where you choose to live in

And so, must I choose to live wherever I please,

Progressing, flourishing and prospering

at one another’s chosen space!

And in accordance with our national Testament,

Let us both live and let live,

Let us both live here and share equally.

All things that are ours as Nigerians,

die here and be buried at any place of our choice,

‘cos we are all Nigerians, fellow compatriots

And proudly Nigerians, and proud!
