The true test of a nation’s (Nigeria) Nigerianness is not where a Nigerian stands when the ship of state is smooth-sailing, but where they are, what they think, say and do when ship NIGERIAYANA buffets against the stormy current of the national political ocean - OCEANA DU NIGERIANUS.

Also, when the trumpet sound goes forth accompanied by the immortal question: “who is on Nigeria’s side” (?), which side shall you be found or when the children of the future generations of Nigeria shall ask: “what did you do in face the nation’s perilous voyage (to greatness)”, what will your response be?

Again, whilst your Nigerianness, whether by birth or naturalization may not be in doubt or under contest, what will be your response to the question: “how Nigerian are you – 100%, 5-star?

What is more, are you more Nigerian than any of your fellow country men and women in the South East Poligeozone/Geopolizone?

And need I remind the Nigerian people generally that a great novelist will create comic relief in their work to douse tension and crisis just as a great dramatist would apply the tool of deus ex machina to restore order in a situation of any ontological disequilibrium or disorderedness, especially as beyond human management and resolution.

But as the year 2023 draws nearer and nearer and nearer in the nation’s political calendar, with tension already building up inside the nation’s political cauldron, the polity beginning to get heated up once again, with the national blood pressure (NBP) already rising very sharply, stretching the national thermometer (NT) to a breaking or bursting point, and the eyes of the world being already upon our Nigeria, can all of humanity trust the Nigerian people are sufficiently wise enough, humane enough, kind enough, just enough, fair enough, mature enough, conscientious enough, committed and determined enough, are loving enough, large-hearted enough and Nigerian enough to apply the writers’ common sense?

And now the hour comes, and comes indeed, that hour when Nigeria and all the world expect all Nigerians to both demonstrate their Nigerianness and how Nigerian they are before the eyes of the eagerly and anxious waiting world to do the right thing at the right time because it is the right thing to do at the ripe and right time!

Finally, children, I’ll not have you ignorant of the fact that the true test of a nation’s greatness is having the elastic capacity to govern well; do good for the overall good of the commonwealth – the entire population,

 in addition to giving every citizen their due.

 How “Another Gospel” or the Alternative Gospel has acted as a catalyst for the global moral decadence and the collapse of values in the nations of the World…. The greedy and mammonic god of the prosperity preachers suffers from VILLAGEPHOBIA – he is villagephobic, no wonder, he lives only in cities of the nations of the world!

The simple answer is that Jesus preached the Kingdom of God and one of the many reasons He came to Earth was to teach about the Kingdom of God and not about tithes and offerings nor breakthroughs, signs and wonders, miracles, prosperity, large crowds and the frantic efforts at the gathering of it to pay for the unbridled dissipated lifestyles of the jet age so-called “men and women” of ‘God’, resulting in the so-called mega churches; also, Jesus did not teach about “programmes”, “over activities, avalanche of titles, materialism, epicureanism, Owambeism, acquisitiveness, exploiting the brethren and extorting money from them by constantly preaching the now prevalent sugar-coated gospel, making their congregants feel extremely guilty, if they don’t give, and will afterwards, make them part with whatever amount of money they have with them, and sometimes, emptying their bank accounts – their whole life savings; again, Jesus did not preach about preachers owning private jets, hiring choppers to weddings, costing over N2.5 million a day, nor about looting extravaganza, carrying military weapons of a nation in their private jets, romancing – wining and dining with politicians, carrying a heaps of currency notes in their private jets, bought with the people’s money, with successive Governments failing to protect Nigerians from being so duped by these worldly men and women of ‘God’; what is more, always lying the jets were bought for them by “certain” people who gathered together and reasoned that they deserved such iron birds as their birthday presents, etc.

TURNING ‘MY FATHER’S HOUSE INTO A DEN OF ROBBERS

Again, Nigerians and all the world must here be made aware that they are not only bandits in the forests, on the mountains, hills and in the valleys, by the river sides nor on the highways and railways, but in MY FATHER’S HOUSE as well -  those who like the Bakares of this world, the Adeboyes of this world, the Oyakhilomes of this world, the Okonkwos of this world, Oritsejafors of this world, the Eneches of this world, the Sulemans of this world, the Oyedepos of this world, the Ashimolowos of this world, the Osteens of this world, who have turned MY FATHER’S HOUSE to “a house of merchandize” (Matthew 21:12-13).

However, the preaching of the kingdom of God and His righteousness will earn us “all these things.”

And soul-winning without soul-management is unChrist-like!

In order words, the kingdom of God is not about crowd gathering but about the “few chosen” who will in the end make heaven.

And the prosperity gospel is about “all these things…”, whilst the righteousness gospel or the gospel of righteousness is about the kingdom of God.

In this regard, particularly in these times of shakings, I beseech the brethren the world over to be KINGDOM OF GOD CONSCIOUS rather than be KINGDOM OF MAN CONSCIOUS, the sort of gospel rooted and centred on the prevailing prosperity gospel.

Therefore, all those on the two halves of the Atlantic who have chosen to deviate from the true gospel, even the KINGDOM OF GOD must be made aware that ANYTHING THAT IS NOT RAPTURABLE IS NOT IMPORTANT.

BUT IS GIRAFFE ICHABOD BAKARE (GIB) INDEED A MAN OF GOD OR JUST A VERY HOLLOW POLITICIAN IN CASSOCK?

And must a wise person stab people, nay a whole ethnic nationality in the back or ‘kill’ them to get to where their very bestial and inordinate ambition is leading them – to perdition, as he is already on his way to Golgotha, unarguably because the glory of God departed from him long ago, hence he has been presiding over a political sepulchre, and not the church of Jesus Christ our Lord.

As a matter of fact, not a single one of all those “declaring” is a visioner, dreamer, seer, prophet, philosopher, a Nigerian inside out, goal-driven, agenda-driven, a goal-setter with the Midas touch, a goal getter, none of them is calculating, dissecting, analytical, foresighted, futuristic, , conscientious, strategic, a strategic thinker, ideological and can be identified with any known or discernible ideology, compassionate, altruistic, loving, has national consciousness, sensitivity, cultural sensitivity, Poligeozonal consciousness, nor national unity, integration, and cohesion inclined, nor service-driven, nor people-loving, purposeful, well-meaning/intentioned, considerate, compassionate, loving and a lover of Nigeria, a stickler for moderation, planning-orientated, competitive, etc, etc.

And in the face of this charade – vanity fair and AFTER HIM NA ME, Owambe declarations, na my turn to chop, national cake syndrome, when is Mama Yusuf going to come out and declare openly or she is planning to travel to Dubai with her infantile cohorts and declare there?

Also, what about Kyari, the so-called super cop, Monsignor Evans, MC Oluomo, OPC X, Kanu X, Igboho X, Boko fifle, ISWAP fifle, Al-Shabaab, Asari X, killer herdsmen, bandits, Miyetti Wahala, Miyetti Katakata, Yahoo-Yahoo Boys, Badoo fifle, ENDSARS Movement members, cultists, internet fraudsters, ritualists, Nollywood fifle, drug dealers, all the professional endorsers, prayer merchants, etc, etc?

And if they don’t declare within two minutes, they will all be dragged to court for violating my fundamental human right of the freedom of choice?

What can unarguably be deciphered from all these jokers is that they are all not motivated by the call to national duty, but  by greed and an uncontrollable inordinate ambition, and some, just the desire to get headline any way and any how!

But where are the women?

Lest I forget, who this time round has asked Judas of Ogba to join the Presidential race with the ultimate aim of winning the NPE and subsequently against the conscientious voices and voices of reason, who with hindsight regarding the omens that lies ahead have concluded  that Ndigbo should be given a chance by all Nigeria and the Nigerian people – God, an evil genius or just his greed, selfishness and a legendary hubris of messianic complex and his unparalleled inordinate ambition?

And has God ceased to speak to Chris Okotie about his presidential ambition?

Once again, as the nation moves closer and closer to 2023, it is again my patriotic duty to alert the Nigerian people, most especially the security agencies and their Chiefs about the antics of some Do or Die and Fight Dirty Political elements nationwide and most especially, in the South West DODPs/FDPs) – politicians, political officials, their political cattle egrets and their thugs/touts who are already up in arms to do maximum damage to the polity if the zoning pendulum does not eventually vacillate or oscillate towards their side, even though, parties like the APC has in a sort of ambiguous strategy zoned the Presidency to the South sub-national POLIGEOZONE, but what South and which South or which Southern sub-national polity?

So, what do the Nigerian people expect when their President, Muhammadu Buhari companies with criminals and fugitives to the point of ‘sleeping’ in the same ‘bed’ with them, ‘romancing’ and ‘kissing’ them? But have the Nigerian people forgotten, these elements – criminals/the very corrupt and crooks paid twice to obtain the expression of interest to run for President and actually brought him to power?

If the so-called President of Nigeria is behaving like a cocoyam leaf before all the criminals in that country, including the very corrupt, the Nigerian people should therefore, be reminded that “he who pays the piper dictates the tune!” And what is more, the worst is yet to come upon Nigeria and the Nigerian people under Muhammadu Buhari….the last minute rush to commit maximum crimes and do maximum bloody violence/harm to the Nigerian people as the tenure of their patron hastens to a close.

How come the Nigerian people do not know the worst types of bandits and terrorists in that country are the elites in every little corner of the Federation (urban/metropolitan and rural), top-down, starting from high places – the Presidency, the palaces, the civil service, the military, the police, the state houses, the judiciary, the professions and business, industry, etc, etc, to the bush and highway bandits; the same applies to terrorism and other criminal activities in Nigeria, ECOWAS region and all Africa.

If the Chief Security Officer of a State could not tell when all Nigeria has already been taken and overrun by enemies across the globe, why give him and others the so-called security votes which feed their obscene lifestyles and fund their elections?

One aims at telling their interviewees what they and their organizations/institutions want to hear, whilst the other aims at telling the inconvenient truth to provoke an unexpected change of mood of the interviewee or provoke or call out a bestial reaction from them and could earn the journalist/reporter/broadcaster a verbal or a physical assault, and subsequently landing them in detention or jail or earn the journalist actual death!

Thus, a child’s first misstep or actual when learning (how) to walk does not scare them from keeping on trying again and again to walk in order to master their steps, nor does it kill the sprinter in them, rather it is a propellant that calls for more practices on the part of the child, emboldening and imbuing them with the spirit of boldness and confidence that stirs up their kinaesthetic energy which like an adrenaline provokes or sparks up unprecedented thirst for more walk practices and launches them on the path of mastering and the perfection of their walks, and develops in them the right muscles and brings out that sprinter in them in later years.

But whenever and wherever this happens or occurs – (whenever you fail or are disappointed), do not be disappointed in yourself - after all, every disappointment is a blessing.

And failure does not only teach success, but it is also success turned inside outside.

So, at whatever time and whenever you fail, or things or affairs or events of life do not turn out as planned, suicide must not be an option nor must you ever entertain suicide thoughts, thinking of killing yourself or another person just because you have experienced such a temporary defeat/setback!

THE SAD TALE OF FULAHAYORUGERIA – OUR LAST BEST OPTION AND CHOICE: SELF-CENTREDISM vs. EGALITARIANISM/UNIVERSAL ALTRUISM

Regarding THE NIGERIAN STORY, unless you are just from the outer planet, it is no longer news that the Fulani, the Hausas, the Kanuris, the Shuwa Arabs and indigenous Arabs together with the Yorubas have hijacked our Nigeria for their pleasure and to the disadvantage of the rest of Nigerians.

And in order to right this decades of wrong, it is the argument of this discourse that for there to be peace in Nigeria, every citizen, ethnic nationality and geo-political zone be given their due, creating a sense of belonging for all Nigerians, so that going forward, there will be a NIGERIAN FOR ALL NIGERIANS, but the Nigeria people, the part/section/zone with the BORN TO RULE PERPETUALL MENTALITY can choose to ignore this ingredient and element for peace and justice, and lose Nigeria and afterward perish like fools.

As the nation once again marches towards 2023, and again with the usual uncertainties that have come to characterise Nigeria, each time she moves toward election year, with the entire polity beginning to be heated up by the greedy ethnic and religious champions and activists in all of the ALTERNATIVE POLITICAL PARTIES (APP) or ROADSIDE POLITICAL (RPP) or PARALLEL or ETHNIC or GEOPOLIZONAL PARTIES (GPP) such as Afenifere, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Arewa Consultative Forum, the Middle Belt Forum, Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Northern Elders Forum, CAN, the ever notorious MURIC, Northern Elders Forum, etc, with the main political actors and their registered political parties and the nation’s Bread and Butter Activist, including all the Kile Je ku(?) separatists and all the MAKE NOISE, CALL ME COME CHOP REVOLUTIONARIES, the choice before Ndigbo regarding 2023 is either proper integration for national cohesion, an indissoluble union and a full participation in the core Nigerian polity with a view to taking their place at the seat of power – the Presidency in Abuja, and having the full support of the Nigerian people, or separatism.

And if the later, then all Igbos wishing or hoping to pull out of the Nigerian Federation MUST do so by relocation within 24 hours of taking such a decision to the NO MAN’S LAND – the virgin continent of Antarctica because the geographical space measuring 923,769 sq. km (356,669 sq. miles) belongs to the geo-political entity called THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

But should they wish to remain as bonafide citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, give up self-determination outside of Nigeria, excepting self-determination within corporate Nigeria, then all non-Igbo, including the Middle Belters – Oluleke Osinbajo, ATIKU ABUBAKAR AND BOLA AHMED TINUBULLION and such others nursing presidential ambition for the 2023 Nigerian Presidential Election (NPE) MUST, repeat MUST bury their presidential ambitions for the sake of country, and its continuity/existence beyond 2023, and for the sake of justice, fair play, universal altruism, harmonious and peaceful co-existence, love, faith, unity, national integration and cohesion, strength, standards and integrity.

Kwenskwently, the South East Ndigbo and not any Igbo outside of the SOUTH EAST GEOPOLIZONE, but SE Ndigbo should organise themselves, this time round, not into AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES, to which the Igbos having jettisoned their traditional republicanism have resorted, where every Mazi and Eze wants to be a king/let and be addressed as EZE NDIGBO!

The SE Ndigbos must be made aware, these are perilous times in the nation’s odyssey, so seriousness is sine qua non, and the whole exercise of scouting for the right candidates – five, I’m proposing, must not be seen/regarded and actually be a MATTER OF CASH or for THE HIGHEST BIDDER.

THE ADUMA MODEL/FORMULA/OPTION/STRATEGY/METHOD FOR THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENT OF SOUTH EAST NDIGBO EXTRACTION/ETHNIC NATIONALITY/POLIGEOZONE

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS

This writer in all honesty is quite aware of the fact that under normal circumstances, the next Presidential flagbearer of the PDP should come from the North as Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who was their last representative in that exalted and hallowed office comes from the SS Geopolizone, and by extension, represented all South.

Similarly, under normal circumstances too, the APC after Muhammadu Buhari can only have their presidential candidate from the South of the Geopolitical divide, and for the sake of God, natural justice, equity, national and individual peace, national unity, golden rule and universal altruism, it should be the turn of the South East Ndigbo Geopolizone, except that Ndigbo have already turned themselves into a cocoyam leaf, a reed, a plankton, floating under the flotsam and jetsam of the Nigerian political ocean!

THE NORTH AGAIN, GOES A ‘FISHING’

Again, as the North goes a ‘fishing’ inside the murky waters of the Nigerian politics, all South have again, for the umpteenth time allowed themselves to be boxed into a very tight corner that they cannot wriggle themselves out of that corner, no matter how they try.

The North with their legendary political creativity, innovation, imagination, invention, political strategy, and sagacity have again, outsmarted the bukuru, uncoordinated, very sheepish, cowardly, selfish, greedy, pleasure-loving, and grammar-loving South.

But on my part, I have been warning the nation, particularly the South that the North have been plotting a quick return to power through the back door after a minimum of 3 years out of the Unity House and a maximum of 4, through either the SS route, but certainly not through the South East Ndigbo route, unless for justice’, peace’ and conscience’s sake they do a re-think, or the PDP route, having a person of the North they will all rally round and back, instead of they backing a candidate from either the South East or the South West Poligeozone.

And in just a matter of moment, they will start using my scarecrow strategy method of fighting corruption in Nigeria by dusting the dossiers on every of the South Eastern or South Western presidential aspirants, but adopt a cautious approach to retrying those from the South South, excepting the those ‘wicked political ants’ in MB’s armpits from that Geopolizone.

Under their PROJECT SCARECROW, they will soon dispatch the officials of both the EFCC and ICPC on a sort of how una dey-‘friendly’ (?) visit to knock on their doors and humiliate some of the Presidential aspirants by handcuffing them in front of their families, lead them to the waiting vans or cars and then drive them away to the Unity City for questioning, asking them to give accounting of their stewardships and other matters in their previous places of service.

Therefore, in light of the foregoing, the AM (the ADUMAEAN MODEL) aims to identify five registered major political parties, all five, having the potential of winning the Nigerian Presidential Election (NPE) in 2023 that will all field five Nigerians of Igbo extraction who are all visionaries, dreamers, purposeful, mission/goal-orientated, do-it-now persons, aspirational/motivational, highly detribalized, large-hearted, believers in the golden rule/universal altruism and the principles of NIGERIANISM; god-fearing, philosophers, focused, progressive, development-oriented; compassionate, persons of unimpeachable integrity, proud of their Nigerianness as well as their Igboness; believers in the principles of egalitarianism; justice lovers, who will see themselves as the national umbrellas for Nigeria and all Nigerians, in addition to seeing Nigeria as their constituency; determined to contribute and promote national peace; true and genuine national integration and cohesion; national consciousness, national integrity, national and cultural sensitivity; national standards, national values (discipline, integrity, dignity of labour, social justice, religious tolerance, self-reliance and patriotism); national philosophy, national morality, and amongst others; Nigerianism, Nigeriatopia, Nigerian exceptionalism, but with Africa as the centre piece of their foreign policy, whilst pursuing and promoting, mixed economy as against mono-culturalism) and foundry as the basis for the nation’s technological take off, having as it were, cottage thinking, with the slogan: START SMALL AND GROW BIG) as its fulcrum with the resultant effects hinged on cottage industries, spread across the Federation, with the booming and strong flowering of incubation centres and upstart businesses nationwide, backed by apprenticeship scheme nationwide; and far and above everything else, the genuine, aggressive zeal and the patriotic pursuit of the Nigerian dream/vision for the realization and fulfilment of national or the Nigerian destiny, national unity, harmonious relationship amongst the Nigerian people and peaceful co-existence.

The Nigerian people having unarguably become very tired of the Fulani/Hausa/Kanuri, (Shuwa) Arab hegemonistic reign of terror (Arabism/Islamism/Wahabism/Salafism) and purposeless, retrogressive, medievalist, locust-like profligacy and very corrupt governance since the nation’s independence till date, these five Nigerian Redeemers of Igbo extraction must pick their running mates from any minority ethnic nationalities in the North of Nigeria, and certainly NOT, repeat here very vehemently, NOT any from those destroyers and wreckers of our Nigeria – the Fulanis, Hausas, the Kanuris, (Shuwa) Arabs, all of whom every sensible Nigerian must now be tired of having wilfully, consciously underdeveloped and held Nigeria by the jugular since the 1960s.

There can be no more auspicious time than now for a very swift and decisive action for the Nigerian people to rise as one people, draw the line and tell them loud and clear and in no unmistaken term: OROKU ME (Yala, for ENOUGH IS ENOUGH) – and as my Yoruba compatriots would say: OTOGE – you have had your chances many times over since the 1960s and shamelessly had used them to disadvantage the other Nigerians, within your GEOPOLIZONE – the Talakawas, and those outside of your ethnic nationalities and geopolizones.

All Nigerians are tired of you lots if you lots are not yet tired of yourselves in governance, for Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians, so for all Nigerians under the banner: NIGERIA FOR NIGERIANS, NIGERIA FOR THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE, HENCE EVERYBODY should be made to have a sense of belonging.

In advocating five Igbo persons for the top five political parties in Nigeria, the ADUMA MODEL recognises and acknowledges the fact that an Igbo person is an Igbo person – all Igbos are one just as all Nigerians are one no matter their ethnic nationalities, and for the Igbos, especially, wherever they find themselves in the Nigerian Federation by accident of human artificial lines – geo-boundaries; so there must not be such a thing as core/proper/original Igbos or hybridised/engrafted Igbos. Examples: Igbo East, Igbo West – Onitsha, Nri, Aro, Ikwerre/Iwhuruoha -  Rivers Igbos, Bendelta Igbos (Bendel or Delta Igbos), Izzi or Wawa Igbos, etc.

However, and with all sense of responsibility, and as our collective national response to the recurring clamour for Biafra, and if the nation is to genuinely douse these ongoing tensions, a conscientious and positive discrimination has to be made in this treatise in favour of the South East Ndigbo to produce the next President of Nigeria and as the GEOPOLIZONE wherefrom the next President of Nigeria MUST emanate, bearing in mind, it remains the most disadvantaged and disfavoured zone in the national power equation, governance, political appointments and in terms of infrastructural development.

NPE 2023: PITTING THE SOUTH AGAINST ITSELF…. AGAIN, NORTH BEING CLEVER BY HALF!

And it is hoped that within the context of this proposal no Ndigbo umunna in any POLIGEOZONE will become a battle ground for power tussle nor the entire South be turned against itself – for example: Igbo against Yoruba and Yoruba vice versa; Igbo against the South South and the South South vice versa, nor all Yoruba South West against the South South and the South South against all Yoruba South West as this will be the ulterior and evil motive in any zoning arrangement to the so-called South by those with permanent BORN TO RULE mentality – the jihadi North/the so-called cabal/Northern Oligarchs (the Fulanis, the Hausas, the Kanuris, the Shuwa Arabs and their Arab cousins together with the Muslim majority nations in ECOWAS, Continental Africa and in the nations of the world – as already, international jihadists/mujahedeen/extremists/terrorists (a.k.a) bandits have infiltrated and taken over all the Western African States, more especially Nigeria, having majority terrorists sympathisers in high places, in government, the military, para-military, the police, civil service (state and federal), palaces, studentries, the UNITY HOUSE in the UNITY VILLAGE (both now the most vulnerable places on the planet earth) in the UNITY CITY (nor is it less vulnerable), the UNITY ASSEMBLY (nor this place for the worms and the vultures), the PEOPLE’S HOUSES in states (must too watch)!

RWANDA: HOW NOT TO BE STUPID IN ACTS OF MERCY

But has Rwanda counted the costs, for there will be tears, sorrow, anguish, and blood again!

WHEN I WAS YOUNG

Whilst growing up, my elder brother, MR ANTHONY ONWOGIDI, a teacher/businessman (rice miller/Merchant and poultry farmer) was the patron of Atilogu Dancers in Izzi whom the Yalas call the Ehias (Ezaas) or the Iworis/Oworis or the Wawas in the then East Central State of Nigeria, now in Ebonyi State, whilst we are from Ebo in the then South Eastern State of Nigeria, now Cross River State of Nigeria.

What better way to demonstrate good neighbourliness and national unity!

The only thing that separates the Alebos of Yala in the present Yala Local Government Area from their Ehia or their Iwori/Owori or their Wawa neighbours in the present Ebonyi State is a river (Onwu), and Yehe, otherwise called variously as Yahe or Iyahe in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State is just a ‘stone’ throw from Abakaliki, the capital of Ebony State and formerly the Headquarters of Ogoja Province until 1967.

And being from a business family, every week, one person or more members of my family would make a trip to Abakaliki for one business or another, more especially for rice grinding and sales!

And the Iworis till this day usually attend our weekly local market, Ogidi which falls on the 5^th day of the week in the Yala traditional calendar, just as we too still do attend theirs weekly, and all wealthy Yalas who could afford to kill oxes or bulls as a sign of wealth, mark of prestige and honour during the burial ceremonies of their loved ones would travel to Izzi to buy these animals.

We kids on both sides of the river divides were bathing/washing and swimming together in the same Onwu (river), without fighting, but playing and enjoying our youth together.

Excepting this writer, many a Yala and Wawa youngster was learning how to speak English during this time, and this writer was the envy of such youth.

Until the coming of the politicians who put a sword/bomb on this solid relationship such that you now hear of inter-tribal wars amongst some communities in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State and their next door neighbours in Ebonyi, particularly the Ehias/Oworis/Iworis, both the Yalas and the Wawas at this time, whilst this writer was growing up in the village adopted the unwritten code or policy of: TOUCH ONE, TOUCH ALL, and any person fighting a Yala person then was equally fighting the Wawas.

Lest I forget, many Wawas were living in our house free of charge, and these included those working directly for my elder brother, MR ANTHONY ONWOGIDI and those living in our house free of charge, but who were hired by other Yala persons of means to work on their farms, yam farms and rice plantation, especially.

And whenever there was any dispute between them and their hirers, these would be brought to my elder brother for mediation and resolution of such disputes.

Thus, it could be said here the politicians just like the military have done incalculable harm to our corporate unity, including national integration and cohesion which has stalled our inability to achieve genuine national integration and cohesion at this time.

This explains why at a time, especially in this 21^st century when we should be celebrating our natural diversity, glorying and boasting about it, more and more landmines are being laid against Nigerians by their compatriots seeking territories, including the use of AK-47, the tactics of abductions and requesting for ransom; bombs, explosives, IED, drones, missiles are being used by the terrorists/jihadists/extremists/mujahedeen* who have now not only overrun Southern Kaduna, but all Nigeria, and no national space is safe right now, and these will not bate soon, but will keep on getting worse, more so, when FAMINES beyond the Biblical proportion is already flapping their wings all over Nigeria, in and around Nigeria, courtesy of  – the so-called bandits, herdsmen, Boko Haram, both bush/forest and urban, ably supported by the Presidency, the palaces, mosques, the Muslim world and the two Miyettis – Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) and MiyettI Allah Kataul Hore, both of which should be derided here as MIYETTI WAHALA AND MIYETTI KATAKATA, both fiercely malevolent, very dangerous and bestial.

What is more, they do both revel in purposeless malignity.

Added to the bestial/monstrous activities of the land thieving jihadists in provoking the impending famine in Nigeria and the entire West Africa is the general lockdown occasioned by the global pandemic – Covid-19.

But how prepared are Nigerians and the peoples of West Africa for the imminent famine?

THE LESSON IN NATIONAL UNITY, INTEGRATION AND COHESION FOR NIGERIANS, ESPECIALLY NDIGBO

Kids from both sides of the river would swim, bathe freely and peacefully with one another, including older people and women from both sides of the divide who come to collect waters from the river.

This is a great lesson or should be a great lesson for Ndigbo. They must first and foremost, learn to live peacefully amongst themselves, their immediate neighbours and all their Nigerian compatriots, be accommodating, tolerant without being showy and without the usual exhibition or display of arrogance and superiority complex which are a very common trait amongst them.

And need I as a matter of grave concern observe that of late, the Igbos have taken over from Cross Riverians and A’Ibomites in matters of land disputes, leading to intra/inter-tribal wars or the so-called communal clashes, resulting in untold and untimely deaths of their innocent brethren – their clansmen/women, with such deaths now numbering hundreds, if not thousands already.

Laughably, these are a people fighting for the independent State of Biafra outside of the Nigerian Federation.

Therefore, with the benefit of hindsight, if they succeed in having Biafra, how many Biafran Republics will then spring up?

And if Ndigbo have proved they cannot even live peacefully amongst themselves as a homogenous linguistic and cultural group, and with respect to faith, the majority, Catholic, so what guarantee is there that they will be able to live peacefully with their Ogoja, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, A’Ibom, and other Cross Riverian neighbours?

This nonsense, therefore, has got to stop. And stop it must!

If the Igbos are currently warring against themselves so very fiercely and very mindlessly ferocious at a time when they are demanding self-determination outside of the Nigerian Federation/state – Biafra, what guarantee there is therefore that, God forbid, but for the sake of this argument, when they are able to hypothetically de-engraft themselves from the Nigerian union, they will be able to co-exist harmoniously and peacefully too without having to become a thorn in the flesh of their Ogoja, Nkwerre, Effik, Ibibio, Anioma/Delta and Edo neighbours, and more so, live like cats and dogs amongst themselves, a situation that would undoubtedly lead to AUTONOMOUS BIAFRA REPUBLIC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ad infinitum, perpetually warring amongst themselves, with some clamouring to return to the mother country, Nigeria?

If my observation is correct as someone from Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, their nearest neighbours and the nearest State to them, how then are they going to live peacefully with these their closest Nigerian neighbours, Yala/Cross Rivers, Rivers, Bayelsa, A’Ibom, Delta, Edo, Benue and Kogi?

Or the mercantilist separatists having A DREAM OF BIAFRA are deluding themselves, thinking, these other Nigerians would go with them in the event, God forbid, of a break-up?

As an invitation to Ndigbo to punctuate their dream of Biafra and reflect just for a second: if Ndigbo are found to be very belligerent, hawkish, unfriendly, very unaccommodating, very arrogant and aggressive with their unparalleled trademark superiority complex, why should the Nigerian people entrust their NIGERIA into their hands, especially at a time Ndigbo are seeking to have a *shot in the Nigerian Presidency and at the same time seeking self-rule – dreaming of Biafra – an independent Republic of their own?

But the President of Nigeria must be a Nigerian inside out without having an obvious vested interest and an unparalleled conflict of interest, topping such up with worrying UNNIGERIAN LOYALTY?

Aro ke la lechi-lechi: Yala, (for) let real truth be told, in our search to have an Igbo person to rule Nigeria in 2023, are we sincerely sure that there is an Igbo person out there to whom we can all trust OUR NIGERIA into their hands, especially such as without a selfish or vested interest and immeasurable conflicts of interest?

Thus, it is not enough for an Igbo person under these conflicting vested-selfish interest and an unimaginable conflicts of interest o desire to take a shot or give it ago in Nigeria’s highest seat of power, even the UNITY HOUSE (the Presidency), but there sure are many hurdles on their way to the UNITY VILLAGE (Aso Rock) - and the highest land form on the planet, Mount Ever rest pales to insignificance in comparison with the heights of these hurdles for every Ndigbo out there dreaming to become the President of Nigeria – and I dare add that these hurdles are put there by Ndigbo themselves; in other words, self-inflicted, or simply put, they themselves have put these hurdles there,  and not any other ethnic nationality in Nigeria has put these avalanche of hurdles on their way, but Ndigbo themselves – Ndigbo put them there; Ndigbo created these hurdles by and for themselves; Ndigbo created these problems for themselves, and they are the creators of these mountainous problems. As some products coming out of backyard factories in Igboland are derisively referred to by Nigerians on the two halves of Nigeria as ABA MADE, I’d say here, the presidential obstacles of trust that Ndigbo will face in the coming days and months and years till 2023 are IGBO MADE! (*this piece has been written some years back).

NDIGBO FATIGUE, POST CIVIL WAR STRESS & THE ENEMIES WITHIN

The other possible obstacles in the way of Ndigbo presidential ambition could be what this writer calls variously as Ndigbo Fatigue or EXCLUSIVITY FATIGE (EF) or EXCLUSIVITY SYNDROME (ES) or LOW NATIONAL WORTH FATIGE (LNWF) or BACKYARD SYNDROME/FATIGUE (BS/BF) or JUNK YARD SYNDROME/FATIGUE (JYS/BYF).

By all these nomenclatures it here reckoned Ndigbo having been rejected/abandoned/excluded/neglected/ignored/binned from the national scheme of things by successive Governments since 1967, more so, unarguably since the 30-month Nigeria-Biafra (civil) war decided to give up on Nigeria, to focus more on trade and commerce, and undoubtedly, some deliberately or consciously took to sundry crimes, and subsequently, gave up on Nigeria to play the ostrich, and whenever it serves, they push the likes of Ralph Uwazuruike, and lately that fiendish/satanic IPOB Onyebru ‘messiah’, Kanu X to clamour for Biafra, with BIAFRATOPIA as their mirage/phantasmagoria.

And in the coming days and months and the run-up to the NPE 2023, many Judases shall arise, and having collected money from both within and without act as spoilers through adverts, write-ups in papers, magazines and on the social media, word of mouth, and teaming up with ‘foreigners’/aliens from within and without (Nigeria/outside of it) spark up crisis/riots of immense magnitude that could force the Federal Government to be up with its merciless and heavy hammer eventuating in a state of emergency all over the South East – and North only in the SE GEOPOLIZONE, but these trouble makers and death merchants/traders will also, spring up from all over Nigeria, but majorly in the SE, SW, SS, and sprinkled here and there in the Nokbekwara and all North POLIGEOZONE just as a camouflage.

NIGERIAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2023 (NPE2023) AND THE SOUTH EAST NDIGBO…. ACCEPTING DEFEAT BEFORE THE STATRT OF THE RACE IS NOT ONLY A DEFEATIST ATTITUDE, BUT VERY EMBARASSING

The recent defeatist attitude by the South East Ndigbo through Ohaneze Ndigbo is a clear manifestation of a sub-national political confusion, disorderedness and a general lack of confidence.

Ndigbo naturally exhibit strength, vitality and virility, but they have also, shown themselves timid at the sound of every gun from the Fulanis, the Hausas, the Kanuris and the Shuwa Arabs and displayed unparalleled weakness, gross indiscipline, uncoordination and a general disunity within their ethnic nationality and Geopolizone at baits and mammon thrown at them by their oppressors – their compatriots from the Upper Niger.

When it served the interest of the descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio, they balkanized, partitioned, separated and scattered all Ndigbo of the former Eastern and the Western Regions – and having landlocked them, and boxed them into a very tight corner, began talking about geopolizonal politics – and whilst this served their divisors for upward of 57 years, and now not wishing to totally relinquish power after the departure of Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, they have gone back to the drawing board, and throwing their baits again at Ndigbo, have announced clearly to them thus: IGBO IS IGBO, NDIGBO IS NDIGBO….”an Igbo is an Igbo”, whether in the SS or in the mainland Igbo of the South East – and not surprising, before the bait is even thrown at them, they have swallowed it up hook line and sinker from afar! All for their quick return to power after MB.

But in this 21^st century, particularly the inherent politics at play, what all conscientious Nigerians are talking about is poligeozonal (political identity) and not ethnic or ethnic identity politics!

Thus, che, Ndigbo! Ndigbo, che! A people that do not stand on principles will sure fall for any bait.

By this current and embarrassing defeatist attitude of Ohaneze Ndigbo saying it is okay for a hybridised Ndigbo to represent them in the Presidency to satisfy their age-long yearnings to have one of their own become president of Nigeria, the pertinent question that may be asked at this juncture is: if Ndigbo already have, particularly Rivers State, where some of their brethren are naturally domiciled, why then have they been asking from the Nigerian people to create for them another state to balance up as this would if created, make Ndigbo to have seven states, which is not fair to the other Geopolizones or Ndigbo are simply taking all Nigeria for a ride?

NPE 2023: KATAKATA DEY COME…A NATION ‘LIVE-WIRED’ AND ‘LANDMINED’

• The N0.1 question the Nigerian people must ask Ndigbo is: why do you want to rule Nigeria come 2023 when you are aggressively and determinedly clamouring for the break-up of the Nigerian Federation?
• If this observation is true and correct, is this fair on the Nigerian people to be demanding to rule them at the same time?
• By your aggressive determination to break up Nigeria and form a separate state and republic it is to be understood that you think you do not have inheritance/hope nor believe in Nigeria, or actually do not have inheritance here or do not think yourself a part of the Nigerian Federation. So, if this is the case, what made you suddenly think that you now have inheritance in Nigeria or are now a part of Nigeria?
• How sincere are you and how can you convince the Nigerian people that your cause in seeking to rule is Nigerianistic – in the best interest of the Nigerian people?
• Why are you seeking to rule Nigeria at a time you are crying for Biafra – or you think you can eat your cake and have it?
• If you eventually get the power, you have been hankering after to rule Nigeria, what then do you want or will you want to do with it?
• Power for power’s sake or power for service to the Nigerian people or power to break up Nigeria?
• But how can you convince the Nigerian people that your quest for power is sincere and genuine?
• Why should the Nigerian people trust you when you have continued to exhume the ghost of Biafra with a view to having a separate state of Biafra to be known and called THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA?
• Generally speaking, what made you think that you would be different from the quartet: the Fulanis/Hausas, the Kanuris, the (Shuwa) Arabs and the Yorubas?
• How differently would your ruling Nigeria be from theirs or from them all?
• What did you not see/find in Nigeria that you have continued to cry for Biafra?
• What do you now see/find in Nigeria that you have decided to make a radical U-turn and now want to contest for the post of President to rule her?
• Overall, what do you see in Biafra?
• How will you relate with other Nigerians when power is given to you by the Nigerian people?
• How can you convince the Nigerian people that you are not merely seeking power to break up Nigeria?
• In seeking to serve Nigeria in 2023, are you all – are all Ndigbo ready to renounce and completely (bury) forget Biafra? If no, why not, and if yes, why now?
• If all Ndigbo severally don’t want to renounce Biafra and give up the dream of Biafra, why must the Nigerian people trust you with their country by putting their collective national fate and destiny in your hands?
• Or the Nigerian people should take it that there are two bio-politico-cultural species of Ndigbo – Nigeria Ndigbo and Biafra Ndigbo? If now the Nigerian people and the world are to believe there exits two Ndigbos - when next a person perceives someone to be Igbo, and after they have greeted, can the inquisitive interlocutor ask: e be Onyibo, and if they affirm, will the inquisitive interlocutor be right to follow up their first question with: which type of Igbo are you – Nigeria or Biafra Igbo? In this wise therefore, the pertinent question to ask at this juncture will be: is it then the two Igbos that want to separate from the Federal Republic of Nigeria or some or just the few longer-throat mercantilist separatist Biafran Ndigbo?
• What will you do with power when it is eventually given to you?
• What is your statement of purpose?
• What is your mission statement?
• Do the five proposed Ndigbo Presidential candidates have a vision of what I’d like to call NIGERIATOPIA, having NIGERIANISM as our national ideology as well as having what I would continentally and racially speaking, term a vision of AFRICATOPIA, and not FULBEISM/FULANISM/PEULISM and ARABISM like Muhammadu Buhari?
• Presidency not for shifty and desperadoes and mercantilists or those with ulterior motives/hidden agenda.

 

“COMETH THE HOUR, COMETH THE MAN…. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET SERIOUS AND LET THE BEST INDIGBO BECOME…”!

In seeking to become the next caretakers of the UNITY HOUSE at the UNITY VILLAGE in Abuja, the South Eastern Ndigbo have not shown sufficient interest/commitment/seriousness/confidence, boldness, determination, boundless enthusiasm nor desiring it very earnestly, rather they have been half-hearted in this venture, behaving like efulefus, a fowl in a strange land standing with one leg, not being sure of where she is standing, whether on a sinking sand or on a solid rock or a group of red crabs in a bucket pulling down one another as each tries to get out of the bucket.

Had they really been serious and well intentioned, more imbibed the 6P’s Principles – Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance, they would already have by now indeed, known who amongst them to support to represent them and the nation in the UNITY HOUSE at the UNITY VILLAGE in the UNITY CITY (Abuja).

2023 NPE: A NATION AND ITS LACKLUSTRE REACTIVE POLICE FORCE

But where are the police?

Are they already dotting their policing “i’s” and “t’s”, reviewing their techniques, strategies, tactics, and carrying out simulation exercises in readiness for the 2023 P.E.?

Truth is many SE Ndigbo and their compatriots from other Geopolizones declaring their interest in the presidency are merely doing so to be called and settled by the highest formidable aspirant in the race with huge sums of money or contracts or political appointments, whilst some for the same reason are just spoilers.

Still, Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance – some as part of the bargain would negotiate on having their deposits – the money they have used in purchasing the “indication of interest” forms will sell the “withdrawal” of their candidature for mouth-watery fortunes, running to millions of Naira per candidacy – just the giving up of it!

Thus, in the Nigerian Federation, the SE Ndigbo could be their own very worst enemies - albatross, apart from the IPOBITES and that Satanic ringleader of the insurrectionists.

Already, the stage is set for an unparalleled implosion, which could give the North the excuse for the declaration of a state of emergency to deny Ndigbo the Presidency as any time any day, the Fulanis, the Hausas, the Kanuris, the Shuwas Arabs and their Arab cousins in the East would prefer someone from the SS Geopolizone, who even just bears Igbo name, say: EBELE…any other such as in their reckoning their war with Ndigbo is a continuous historical process, so UNFINISHED, hence ongoing!

As a matter of fact, the preparation for the SE Ndigbo Presidency ought to have been begun since May 29, 2015, not 2019 either, but in 2015 just as the National Police Election Monitoring Team (NPEMT) for the 2023 PE ought to have been constituted on May 29, 2019, giving them room for enough practices  - simulation exercises, strategizing and re-strategizing and the continuous review of such constantly to meet the changing realities before the day of the PE2023.

But unfortunately, and embarrassingly too, the national policing authorities are not likely to give heed to PE policing preparation until when it’s 24 hours to the PE to re-enact their usual reactive and yayaya-fire brigade policing approach just as it is equally characteristic of the Nigerian people in all things Nigerian.

For example, while it will take a Kenyan 2 or more years to prepare for a marathon race, Nigerians will not start until it is 48 hours to the actual race!
