“Nigeria is big enough for all of us and I believe that the Igbo, Middle Belt and the Yoruba are the true Nigerians because if you look round our borders, people came from abroad and are still coming but Ndigbo have always been there, Middle Belt people have always been there, even Yoruba have always been there. “People who came in yesterday who have a duty of respect are now the ones talking. Going forward, we must create a federal democracy that will respond positively to all the aspirations of our people not about East-West but all about working together in equality, bringing in the youths and the women to build a new Nigeria.” Ouoted in Vanguard.

  • General Yakubu Gowon, Father of the Nigerian Union and its arch defender…famously known for these eternal words of his to the Nigerian people and posterity:
  • “TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE IS A TASK THAT MUST BE DONE.”
  • Therefore, Rehoboam Muhammadu Buhari must learn from the FATHER OF MODERN NIGERIA, and pledge to GO ON WITH ONE NIGERIA (GOWON).
  • If Buhari is a wise man, now is the time for him to rededicate and commit himself to NIGERIANISM as his greatest service and FINAL ACT to the nation and the coming generations of Nigerians. Our greatest gift and glory are not in oil, but in our diversity. Unfortunately, bigot Muhammadu Buhari is a misfit in that exalted office, so incapable of leading the nation to celebrate that diversity.
  • NOW IS THE TIME FOR A NEW GLOBAL MORAL ORDER – GLOBAL SPIRITUAL AWAKENING, MORAL REVOLUTION AND NOT THE CURRENT GLOBAL CELEBRITY AND COMMERCIAL PASTORS MORALITY AND SPIRITUALITY

NOLLYWOOD MORALITY AND CRIMES IN NIGERIA…THE NOLLYWOODIZATION AND THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF THE NATIONAL MORALITY AND THE NATIONAL VALUE SYSTEM

Pro-active approach to policing also means beaming a searchlight on the current ignominious and an embarrassing much-expressed, much-emphasised value - MONEY- be it in the entire polity or in the religious  sector or in the economy or within a sub-culture or a sub-group, in this wise, the larger than life lifestyles of the nation’s so-called prosperity pastors, money-miss-road emergency billionaires/millionaires (MMREB/MMREM), having wealth without working/sweating (www/wws); Internet Age actors and actresses, most of whom live in Lekki, Ikoyi, on Victoria and Banana Islands, living a lifestyle that is far, far beyond their means, thereby confusing and corrupting young Nigerians, and pushing them to living the same type of lifestyles in which they now resort to all sorts of crimes to keep up with the Joneses.

    THE TROUBLE WITH OUR WORLD

Lamentably, and very lamentably, the whole wide world had after the Second World War ‘leased’ global morality and spirituality to these morally bankrupt nasty pieces of nature, destitute of ideas and deep thinking in every least way, combined with their well-known spiritual aridity – the so-called celebrities. This unfortunate abdication of responsibility by the entire world has made these so-called celebrities become the custodians of global morality, thus acting as its moral Sat Nav for both the young and the old so much so that they now decide even what we eat, wear, the perfect size for everybody, how to walk, talk, how to sleep, lifestyles, fashion trends, what is best for all humanity, etc.

At a time when there are unusual shakings going on in the world, courtesy of SINOVID-19, now therefore, is a most auspicious time to let visionaries, dreamers, seers, problems solvers, innovators, inventors, creative leaders, philosophers/deep thinkers and real spiritual persons to determine global morality and spirituality, global governance, economy and the future of our world.

Also, pro-active policing means using intelligence to uncover what these very morally bankrupt elements, destitute of ideas having borderless morality do at the ‘basement’ to keep up with their abysmally supersonic lifestyles – such as doing drugs, money laundry, child trafficking in addition to living socially unacceptable lifestyles with biological/natural deficit, some resorting to copulating with animals for pecuniary rewards!

Like the politicians, business men and women, pastors and imams and all those Nigerians looking for quick money, power and fame, they too meet ritualists/medicine men and women to obtain potions for sudden and temporary wealth, after which they die so suddenly just as their wealth, power and fame had come, especially at a time when their lives are sweetest to them.

These findings explain the plausible reasons for most of the untimely deaths amongst this generation of Nigerian entertainers – actors, actresses, musicians, singers, etc, etc.

Thus, going forward, every film by these worms, excrements and vultures must carry a message to the viewers thus: THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND CULTURE HEREBY WARNS THAT THE FILM YOU ARE ABOUT TO WATCH IS NOT REALITY BUT ACTING. YOU ARE THUS WARNED NOT TO LIVE ABOVE YOUR MEANS OR INCOME OR LIVE BIG WITHOUT COMMENSURATE INCOME.

THE PRESENT GENERATION OF NIGERIAN ACTORS/ACTRESSES/ENTERTAINERS/SINGERS/MUSICIANS SHOULD LOOK AT THE RANK OF THE PREVIOUS GENERATIONS WHO WERE WORTHY AMABASSADORS AND AMBASSADRESSES OF AFRICA ON STAGE

***The list above is not in any particular order or generation, but just as the author could remember! Some of these All-Time Ambassadors and Ambassadresses of Nigeria, and indeed, Africa did not make money, nor were they comfortable, but the superlative quality and philosophical depths of their works attest to their eternality. All we have today from the present generation of Nigerian artists and actresses are nothing, but mere noises without depth, lacking artistry!

    TRUTH WILL RISE AGAIN

The arrival on the Nigerian scene of Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida and Maryam his wife, other top military brass of his generation, including other ex-camp followers who later became First Ladies, whilst his ignominious reign lasted, has left the nation with a battered moral psyche whereupon, the nation’s erstwhile much cherished value of honesty and a knowledge-based value with their then slogans – HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY AND KNOWLEDGE IS POWER were jettisoned/abandoned/binned for ungovernable acquisitiveness (materialism of the worst type – money-based, money at all cost) with its slogan: SETTLEMENT; MONEY FOR HAND, BACK FOR GROUND, hence my coinage: BABANGIDO-MARYAMIC MORALITY OR BABANGIDIAN-MARYAMIC MORALITY (BMM), an embarrassing mindset/attitude, which has as its slogan: MONEY IS THE MEASURE OF VALUE.

Also, it was Ibrahim Gbadamosi who after having killed the middle class, just as the duo of Murtala Muhammed and Olusegun Obasanjo, that Arch-Fulanist killed the civil service, threw the door wide open for a very unhealthy competition which has continued till date in the Nigerian system (especially in the polity and the economy), such that preying on the national common or the commonwealth, more than ever before, became very fiercely bestial or animalistic, manifesting in the Obasanjoan highly materialistic dictum – GHANA MUST GO and his power lust cravings – power at all cost cum power for power’s sake: DO OR DIE, which has resurrected in the Buharian equivalent of that animalism – SURRENDER OR DIE!

The result of that absurdity is that within the Nigerian system as the polity and the economy are presently constituted – you are either very, very, very poor or very, very, very wealthy; and for the first, without no fault of yours, and for the second or the latter, WEALTH WITHOUT WORKING (www), better still, WEALTH WITHOUT SWEATING (wws). But how much is enough?

Meanwhile, for God’s and conscience’s sake, I invite the following compatriots of mine on behalf of the people of Makoko to take a visit personally to Makoko in Lagos State and such other places in Nigeria, so they join with me in going to sleep with whatever they see at MAKOKO and such other places in Nigeria -  Aliko Dangote, Atiku Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo, T.Y. Danjuma, Hassan Kukah, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida, Jeremiah Oseni, Femi Otedola, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Jimoh Ibrahim, Festus Keyamo, Mike Adenuga, Tony Elumelu, Pat Utomi, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, David Oyedepo, Sam Olukoya, Mike Okonkwo, Matthew Ashimolowo, Chris Oyakhilome, Nasiru El-Rufai, Wole Soyinka, Odia Ofeimun, Femi Falana, Ayo Oritsejafor, Johnson Suleman, David Adedeji Adeleke, T. B. Joshua, Funke Akindele and her husband, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Kabiyesi Enitan Ogunwusi, Paul Enenche, W. F Kumuyi, Tunde Bakare, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kabiyesi Lamidi Adeyemi, Muhammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, Lateef Kayode Jakande, Ray Ekpu, Sam Adeyemi, etc, etc.

It must be borne in mind also, the arrival of Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida, ushered onto the national scene and psyche, the fraudsters called ‘prosperity’ preachers, now to be known and called CORO-PASTORS who tongue-sweet their customers to part with their money in the name of tithes and offerings and other material possessions, a culture which having been set in the 80s, following the introduction of the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) has continued till date.

Even though, these crooks since then have continued to milk dry gullible Nigerians seeking miracles and breakthroughs, Nigerians continued to be hoodwinked as they continued to troop or probably spiritually magnetised to their Cathedrals of shame, until Coro struck. But these crooks who are worse than politicians and political officials, more corrupt than any group of Nigerians, and other fellow Nigerians must be made aware that GOD IS NOT A MONEY DOUBLER and the church (of Jesus Christ) is not about crowd or the gathering of it to block major economic arteries, causing traffic of unprecedented magnitude without any government in Nigeria since the 1980s till date, calling these spiritual murderers, ‘holy’ savage wolves, social and economic predators and destiny cannibals to order and proceed to stop their weekly or monthly ‘holy’ madness.

And it does look very likely that all current and future efforts to keep down crimes might pale into insignificance without the existence of a stop-gap class or the inbetweener class or the economic middle belt or the sandwich class or the interlude class or what is simply regarded and generally known as the middle class in the social ladder which will undoubtedly act as an absorbent for the prevailing unwarranted aggressiveness or desperation in the pursuit of wealth through all sorts of avenues, especially in the now CRIME/VIOLENCE/TERRORISM/BANDITARY/BLOOD-SHEDDING ECONOMY OR CRIME INDUSTRY OR CRIME FACTORY.

And in whatever/whichever way and whenever we as a people want to bring back the sandwich class, such attempt must go pari passu with the re-arrangement of the national value system, where alongside many other positive/important and much cherished value of honesty/integrity will not only be the fulcrum/foundation/superstructure, but the best policy – HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY.

THE DUMBING-DOWN OF EVERYTHING IN NATIONAL LIFE

Also, as a matter of fact, the politicians the nation has been having since the return to democracy in 1999, if they indeed, worth that label, are all ‘graduates’ of the ‘IBRAHIM GBADAMOSI BABANGIDA SCHOOL OF POLITICS (IGBSP), popularly known as NEW BREED POLITICIANS after IBB stupidly banned both the first and second republic politicians from public and official participation in politics whilst his locust years lasted.

The dumbing-down of everything in the polity and national life explains the general unseriousness, emptiness, mere appearances, banality and vanity that define everything Nigerian today.

Just look at the military which to me personally as a former barracks boy and someone from a military family is an embarrassment which calls for national mourning.

What you have today which passes for the armed forces and the so-called Nigeria police are not only what in barracks popular expression was then regarded very derisively as WOMAN SOJA/WOMAN POLICE, but mere tribal militias – GLOVER HAUSAS/HAUSA CONSTABULARY, now put in the service of the Arab-Fulani-Hausa-Kanuri expansionists’ agenda, for the total conquest of Nigeria in collaboration with Boko Haram, Ansaru, ISWAP, Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb, other international Islamist terrorists, pastoralists terrorists, consequent upon the elimination of all the indigenous monarchs in Nigeria with a view to replacing them with emirs in all the indigenous cultural and political kingdoms, and thereafter, the full introduction of sharia in and around Nigeria!

Oba Rilwan Akiolu should keep sleeping, but he would be quick to ask Ndigbo to jump into the lagoon. This Akioluan unguardedness might have helped in the popularization of ending of lives now in the Lagoon by some Nigerians pushed to extremity, courtesy of Buhari-COVIDISM or Buharism.

Also, the Middle Belters and all South too should keep sleeping and be snoring, but if they must chase away the multi-national land grabbers from their midst, they must emulate Sankofa, a mythical bird in Akan folklore, and look back and study the modus operandi of the Arabs, Turks and the nomads in the earliest centuries – phoenix-like in every respect!

But can the land thieves/grabbers for once be a bit imaginative and relocate with their cows (cattle) to the Antarctica, the NO MAN’S LAND, where they don’t have to shed blood, behead indigenous monarchs to possess their lands, and thereafter install emirs in and around Nigeria?

Fellow country men and women, permit me to say here that we are all more than conquerors, in spite of COVID-19; we shall overcome, and the mountain top where stand I right now, stretching my gaze to yon Canaan, I can see a long file of men and women, boys and girls – old and young from all the nations of the world, each having in their hands a full bottle of milk!

Until I come your way again, do remain strong and hold strong, for ALL WILL SOON BE OVER!

God bless our Nigeria and all of the peoples of the world, even at a time like this.

Yours in the service of God, our Nigeria and all of humanity.
