SERIES: NATIONAL ECONOMIC EMERGENCY (NEE)

There is a tide in the affairs of men

There is a tide in the affairs of men.

    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;

Omitted, all the voyage of their life

Is bound in shallows and in miseries.

On such a full sea are we now afloat,

And we must take the current when it serves,

    Or lose our ventures.

William Shakespeare in  Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224

Yemi Osinbanjo, the Pastor-Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria...man entrusted with the economic destiny of the nation, but lacks the econobility (economic ability) to propel the economic engine of the largest African economy on the planet earth. Sinner who contrary to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is still the Pastor of the Lagos Province 48, the Olive Tree Provincial Headquarters Parish is on record to have boasted he is on loan to the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Vice President, saying: ”Just like Pastor Ibitayo has said we are on loan. I am still the pastor-in-charge of Province 48 in Lagos and my wife remains the pastor-in-charge.”

See what I mean, if Yemo has been displaying lacklustre attitude to governance, wetin come concern monkey with bonga fish, after all, he's on loan!

But has this seat-warming VP, just a gap-filler and a foot-note in the ruling House of Uthman Dan Fodio ever seen a copy of the Nigerian constitution? Sinner came to do "House Boy" at his Boy's Quarter Little Corner in the Presidency, hence he's without a programme of action, yet he wants to feed millions of the nation's school children, whose number he does not even know. Initially, concerned Nigerians did think this G.O's boy with a miracle mindset was hoping to re-enact the "FEEDING OF THOUSANDS MIRACLES" in the Bible, but everyone in Nigeria now knows he just wants to be a FATHER CHRISTMAS to the nation's children by borrowing to do AWUUF! This is a very stupid benevolence. More, we think this is a rubbish idea which MUST be dropped immediately.

As the Pastor of the Olive Branch Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, couldn't he have gone to the East - the place of the BOILING CAULDRON with an olive branch on behalf of his despotic boss and Nigeria, but such wisdom requires commonsense which is lacking in this simple-minded rubber stamp Vice President who is just a mere feather in that exalted office, coming out once in a blue moon to holler for headlines whenever he suffers brain waves?

A man of just a little learning, going to that "high and lowly" office, would have carried his BED with him!

Any kid in a kindergarten in Nigeria must hurry up with a map of Nigeria to Sinner and his globe-trotting boss and ask them to point at the States in Nigeria both of them had visited in nine months since coming to office. But isn't this our story all over Africa - the children in Africa, NOT African children; the children in Nigeria, NOT Nigerian children, as we have no such generation any more to so boast of as all those children in Africa we erroneously regard as AFRICAN CHILDREN are indeed, 'foreigners' who know more about the outside world than they do of their ancestral groves.

Muhammadu Buhari has visited hundreds of foreign countries since coming to office, but how many States in Nigeria has he visited in nine months? He has also gone abroad for treatments, also, how many hospitals in Nigeria has he visited, either for treatment or just to visit to identify with the patients suffering pains and give them comforting words and assurances?

As for Pastor Osinbanjo, this is what his Lord and Master said I should tell him, even at a time like this:

The Sheep and the Goats, MATTHEW 25: 34-35

…34"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'…

Reduce this to policy formulation and you will see that both Oluleke Osinbanjo and Muhammadu Buhari are a danger to Africa, its values and civilization. How then can a people who feel thoroughly ashamed of their roots, themselves, country and culture, ask their people to look inward at a time such as this, how, how can they - how can they tell this generation to be proud of who they are and value what they have, above all else with the hope of preaching to their compatriots the virtue of SELF-RELIANCE. With heavy tears in my eyes and a great sorrow in my heart, and on behalf of posterity I ask: HOW CAN THEY?

Buhari and Osinbanjo's are sure NOT the President and Vice President of Nigeria, but the President and Vice President in Nigeria!

Muhammadu Buhari, what have you got to say to Nigerians in this their moment of pain and sorrow under you?

Oluleke Osinbanjo, what is your gospel to Nigerians this hour? More, were Jesus in your shoes at this time, what would he do?

Enough of the GOVERNMENT WILL DO; TRILLIONS HAVE BEEN RETRIEVED FROM LOOTERS; CORRUPTION IS PAN-NIGERIAN; JONATHAN IS EVIL..HE BROUGHT NIGERIA TO HER KNEES; WE WILL NOT TORORATE AGITRIATORS (TOLERATE AGITATORS); WE WILL FEED THE NATION; OUR BOYS HAVE DEFEATED BOKO HARAM; WE WILL DISCUSS WITH BOKO HARAM; WE WILL PARTNER WITH THE WEST, IDB WILL HELP US DEVELOP OUR EDUCATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE; IDB WILL SEND ALMAJIRIS TO MAKARANTA ON BEHALF OF NIGERIA; THE PRESIDENT'S FREQUENT TRIPS ABROAD ARE YIELDING FRUITS (how many investors have actually come to Nigeria to invest following this global gyrations?); BUHARI IS THE BEST PRESIDENT NIGERIA EVER HAD; OUR MINISTERS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD; WE WILL GIVE ONE MILLION JOBS TO NIGERIANS THIS YEAR (but how many have they given in nine months of their unparalleled ineptitude?); WE WILL DIVERSIFY THE ECONOMY (Haha! Say that again! A gang that don't know their Times Table and can't do budget and have to contract it to the INTERNATIONAL MEDDLING FORCE (IMF)...shio-o-o-o-o!!!

Buhari upon assuming office had tried to outsource governance to the West who had ignorantly described him as MR. INTEGRITY, but having discovered Chindo is a stupendous fake and mountainous liability, cleverly abandoned him as he once was at the entrance of Number 10 in London, hence he is courting his cousins in the Middle East now to come and help him govern a MULTI-CULTURAL, MULTI-LINGUAL AND MULTI-FAITH SOCIETY such as Nigeria, but let him remember it is dangerous to court THE BLACKNESS OF DARKNESS!

But whilst Buhari contracts the governance of democratic Nigeria to theocratic States in the Middle East and their evil IDB, let him be warned about his now infamous and legendary romance with the descendants of Ishmael:

Sarah, Hagar and Ishmael

…11The angel of the LORD said to her further, "Behold, you are with child, And you will bear a son; And you shall call his name Ishmael, Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction. 12"He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone's hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

This Nigeria's FOOT NOTE VP didn't even think whilst his DAURA MASTER has been taking a flight to escape the reality of the Nigerian condition, being without ideas himself, he should be touring the nation on what we would like to refer to as a sort of COME AND SEE TOUR (the problems in our States) and based on his experiencial and evidential findings constitute THE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT THINK TANK who will write down what he had seen in States in form of a blueprint, so they and those who read it may run with it.

Wisdom does counsel: "BE NOT AFRAID OF MOVING SLOWLY, BUT BE AFRAID OF STANDING STILL. But now that BABA DAURA MOLUE is standing still in the middle of the high way, shouldn't all Nigerians be afraid? Muhammadu Buhari does not want Sinner to take the shine off him, especially abroad, hence he has spread himself like a poisonous oyster in all the realms and climes of the world just to asphyxiate Oluleke whom he has in just nine months reduced to a mere Lilliputian in the Presidency, diminishing the lithe frame-Vice President further and further!

A VERY STRONG WARNING

Don't waste time, money and energy on any economic conference and if the President and his cohorts make the mistake of holding any conference rubbish, they have admited that in just nine months of coming to power they have failed, in which case, they have to honourably resign or be chased out of Aso Rock for their unparalleled ineptitude and colossal failure.

If we haven't economic direction since 1921 till date, then why be a sovereign nation?

Did not a Wole Soyinka suggest, probably steal the idea from the National Economic Council which is now contesting the rubbish idea as not original to W.S?

So what?

But what are Buhari's and Osinbanjo's reality perspectives?

FIRST, WHAT IS THE NIGERIA OF MY DREAM?

I dream of one indssoluble nation, one people under one God with a common dream, vision, goal, purpose, destiny and a cohesive national philosophy AIMING to be the best, the greatest and the most powerful country in the world, having the highest per capita income, highest standard of living, enviable human rights records, ensuring harmonious and peaceful co-existence amongst all of its people and their neighbours; be a nation where all of its citizens are the most creative, inventive, most innovative, most cultured and the most accommodating people on the planet earth, leading and surpassing the nations in all things and having life, and having it more abundantly.

With respect to the Vice Prident Oluleke Osinbanjo, I do read the trash from the naive, ignorant and generally illiterate journalists in Nigeria who are now just newsrooms political egrets perpetually hopping on the hunchbacks of ignominious political officials in Nigeria with some of them becoming rubbish awards-giving companies, chasing their questionable awardees to their homes/houses, bedrooms, cultic rendezvous, toilets, board rooms, palaces, hotel rooms, suites in 5-star hotels, mountain tops, hills and valleys just to present them letters for the KILE JEKU(?) AWARDS, do hail Mr Osinbanjo as an erudite scholar of international repute, which I can't get or see or will ever see him so. In any case, anyone who sees Sinner as an ordinary village letter writer, should go to Yaba Psychiatric Hospital to have their heads examined as all of the APC members seem to be on MADs (Mind-Altering Drugs), hence their crass insensitivity to national issues.

Buhari has spent over 31 years dreaming to be President without a PLAN OF ACTION, PROGRAMME OF ACTION, BLUEPRINT, and Sinner merely staggered into that office from one of the HOLY GHOST NIGHT VIGILS, hence he has been hoping for miracles for the economic and political deliverance of Nigeria, whilst his mentor, DADDY G.O said we should pray for that economic liberation, but anyone by the ears of the man of God (MOG) should tell him all prayer, all faith without action is dead! YAWEH HIMSELF had long ago asked Moses: "Moses! Moses! Why criest thou to me? What is that in your palm?" So governance is about work, about action and not about locking oneself in one room at a retreat hoping for miracles.

But can His Grace Enoch Adejare Adeboye who we learnt was the one that had prayed his TIMOTHY, Leke Osinbanjo into becoming the Vice President of Nigeria, stand before God and challenege Him thus: WHY DID YOU NOT GIVE NIGERIANS THEIR OWN ROD JUST AS YOU GAVE TO MOSES?

No Nigerian living or dead can face God and ask Him: "Why don't you bless us, God?" But can all Nigerians look around them, North and South, and be able to name one thing God has not given to that country in order to become the greatest country on the planet earth with the highest per capita income?

THE FAULT IS NOT IN OUR STARS

Meanwhile, William Shakespeare has a word for Buhari, Daddy Adeboye and all Nigerians:

The fault, dear Muhammadu Buhari, Oluleke Osinbanjo, Enoch Adejare Adeboye and all Nigerians, is not in our stars -

"The fault, dear *NIGERIANS, is not in our stars,

But in ourselves, that we are underlings."

Cassius in  Julius Caesar (I, ii, 140-141)

INTERPRETATION IN MODERN ENGLISH

Cassius, a nobleman, is speaking with his friend, Brutus, and trying to persuade him that, in the best interests of the public, Julius Caesar must be stopped from becoming monarch of Rome. Brutus is aware of Caesar's intentions, and is torn between his love of his friend Caesar and his duty to the republic. Cassius continues by reminding Brutus that Caesar is just a man, not a god, and that they are equal men to Caesar. They were all born equally free, and so why would they suddenly have to bow to another man? On another level this phrase has been interpreted to mean that fate is not what drives men to their decisions and actions, but rather the human condition.

Meanwhile, I do IN THE NAME OF GOD  beseech both Muhammadu Buhari and Oluleke Osinbanjo to give Nigerians just this week their own BED!

INTERPRETATION OF B.E.D

Habakkuk 2 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision

And make it plain on tablets,

That he may run who reads it."

B - Blueprint for

E - Economic

D- Development.

The truth is, if Osinbanjo indeed is a scholar, a visionary and above all, if he ever dreamt to be where he is right now as the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA and not just roller-coastered into that exalted office by the rot and unseriousness within the Nigerian system, and calling God to testify, methinks, NINE MONTHS ARE ENOUGH for Oluleke Osinbanjo to put his BED together, if not earlier than nine months, hence I do humbly ask the Vice President to kindly send me in the United Kingdom this week, his BED, just as a similar request was made to Buhari over a year ago to convince me of his preparedness for that exalted office, but which has not been successful.

But come to think of it, does this our so-called ERUdite and interSHIOnational scholar have just a single scholar/intellectual friend in Nigeria and in all realms and climes who can help him and his boss out in this time of national economic emergency? I'm embarrassed to think Osinbanjo wears the prefix PROFESSOR before his name!

Let it be here recorded for posterity that I did warn Buhari then in my capacity as Chairman, Editorial Board of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc, when he was nursing the ambition to run as President that he was not cut out for politics, urging him to give up the idea and warned that if he dared, he would not only be disgraced, but be de-mystified. The title of the article was: A Buhari, not a Lincoln.

Unarguably, I have been vindicated in that Buhari has been stripped bare of all legendary and almost mythical attributes usually attributed to or associated with him. And I can see him rolling from that once Olympian height into the valley of utter condemnation and disrepute.

If the truth MUST be told, Oluleke Osinbanjo just as Mohammed Namadi Sambo remained thorougly useless and treacherous to Goodluck  Ebele Jonathan, is totally useless to Muhammadu Buhari in that "high and lowly" office, a mere "microscopic consequence" and a "repeater station of the major station" (apologies to K.O. Mbadiwe) in the current APC-AREWA - BUHARI GOVERNMENT.

THE NIGERIA OF MY DREAM

I dream of one indssoluble nation, one people under one God with a common dream, vision, goal, purpose, destiny and a cohesive national philosophy AIMING to be the best, the greatest and the most powerful country in the world, having the highest per capita income, highest standard of living, enviable human rights records, ensuring harmonious and peaceful co-existence amongst all of its people and their neighbours; be a nation where all of its citizens are the most creative, inventive, most innovative, most cultured and the most accommodating people on the planet earth, leading and surpassing the nations in all things and having life, and having it more abundantly.

THE DREAM

D - Development

R - Revitalization of the economy

E - Exportation

A - Agriculturalization

M - Manufacturing

But what is the Nigeria of Mr Muhammadu Buhari's dream?

Please watch out soon for my: THE DREAM (BED) to help Mr Buhari and his good-for-nothing team, but can MUHAMMADU BUHARI & AND HIS NOISE MAKING BAND INTERNATIONAL recognise help when they see one, I doubt very much, especially when none of these political Agberos, tacklers, parallelists and Bolekaja crooks that fight by the book of budget, best to be described for decency's sake as mere street politrickians don't know their time table and would gleefully announce to the world that "2 x 2" equals six trillion!

Apart from all ideas I have been dishing out to them in all of my writings since they came to power, I had as soon as Mr Buhari was sworn-in re-published an article of mine containing 192 ideas which was posted to some former Heads of State and Presidents, all the Governors, highly placed persons in that country, some journalist friends and colleagues including very important offices in Nigeria, but what did they do with those nation-changing ideas? Any way, what does anyone expect such a gang to do with anything that will dismantle the status quo and usher in a great revolution in our body politics, when all their eyes were glued kakaraka to the NATIONAL CAKE BUDGET, hoping all to be partakers of the bonanza?

Lest I forget, no economic conference, please. The idea of having a conference when the ship of State is capsizing is not only ludicrous, but stupid! I had earlier warned Buhari against appointing advisers, even though the constitution says so. Realizing his so-called team was mere efulefu - worthless team, I had suggested all he needed was a formidable think-tank comprising the very best that that country could boast of, both at home and in the diaspora - and anything short of this recommendation of mine is planning to fail on the part of Mr Buhari and members of his Obrukutu Drinkers Club (ODC).

As one of the ways of helping him to arrest the drift in the mid ocean, all Mr President needs is a three-person economic team.

VACANCY

As I retire to my Philosophical Lab to cogitate on the events back home, I'd like to inform my much valued readers that we have a vacancy for a 3-year old child who will teach BUHARI & HIS GBANJO GANG the 12 Times Table, please help forward the name of the right Nigerian child.

God bless our Nigeria,

FROM THE VOICE OF ONE...

Proudly leading the NATIONALISTS UNITY MOVEMENT OF NIGERIA (NUMON).

Please read and pass on!
