And have you not lately been hearing about the West talking about NATO TERRITORY; the Chinese territorial expansion in Taiwan, Uyghur Muslim’s so-called re-education, Hong Kong, China’s capturing and hoisting of its flags all over Asia and Africa and her subsequent colonization of Africa through Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) – INFRASTRUTURAL COLONIALITY, to begin with, afterwards other types of Chinese coloniality in Africa – education, cultural, food, re-education, military, industrial, etc.

And apart from Africa and Asia, China is also, subtly inching deep into the Middle East and many other places too numerous to mention here.

Also, Saudi Arabia/UAE and other Muslim majority nations have like in the past been holding all Africa by the *jugular, using as it were, ARABISM and the resurgence of GLOBAL JIHAD as a bait and fulcrum, promoting the ultra-conservative brand of Islamism – Wahabism, Salafism, including terrorism, banking and finance – *Sukuk, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), infrastructural and educational developments, explaining why all Nigeria, whose co-habitation in spite of cultural and religious diversity was not only legendary, but very, very peaceful, and since her joining the OIC in Pakistan in 1986 has been fighting over such non-issues as begun in the South under the UPN-Lateef Kayode Jakande-led Government (1979-1983) as hijab/niqab wearing in schools, colleges, the universities , now in the military, the police, in social spheres/spaces; capturing, marrying off and enslaving under-aged Christian girls and boys (many of who are presently languishing in palaces and some high places in Nigeria - your so-called “missing kids”, for the pleasure of paedophiles in high places/places, serving lascivious and randy terrorists in dungeons, forests, hills and valleys, including as it were, forced conversions,  and clothing all these dark ideologies and cultures (ARABISM) in the name of Muslim Ummah, *pitting the Sunnis against Iran’s heavily funded Shi’itism – what is more, taking over territories, particularly Christian communities in Nigeria, all ECOWAS region – and in fact, all Africa and the Caribbean, yet like in the past, Africa and all Caribbean are sleeping and snoring – even at a time when recolonization has reached its topmost gear, despite several warnings of mine to sleeping Africa many, many years ago.

NORTH: WHAT NORTH AND WHOSE NORTH, BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE?

• As someone who has spent the last 30 years plus to investigate the politico-socio-econo-geo-religio-eco-cultural problems of the Northern States of Nigeria, it not only troubles very greatly that despite the innumerable and multi-faceted problems of the North, the whole of the last 23 years have been spent discussing the now endemic insecurity (terror/religious wars), extremism/Islamism/jihadism, banditry, IDP, bestial cum extreme poverty, pastoralists terrorism, rape, nepotism coupled with its deliberate militarisation of the Nigerian state) in that half of the Nigerian state to the utter neglect or abandonment of other equally very worrisome problems of the Sharia North such as:
• (Impending) famine of biblical proportion
• Desertification
• Drought
• Tree planting – just how many trees has Sada planted since his enthronement in 2006?
• Out of school children
• Work-eunuch/able-disabled youth (idle children and youth)
• Growing population of Almajiri now heading to 15 million as against the official 2.5 million
• Fast disappearing fadamas (traditional agriculture)
• Climate change
• The deleterious effects of the mega dams on the Northern Nigerian ecology – Tiga and Challawa Gorge dams, etc.
• North sitting on a hydrological edge
• Desiccation of the river systems
• Shrinking wetlands – Nguru-Hadeijia, including the lake Chad
• Decreasing fishery activities
• Wildfires/bush fires
• Crimes and drugs in the North – terrorism, banditry, armed robbery, kidnappings/abductions, killer shepherds, paedophilic activities, prostitution, etc. But the problem with the North is that it’s always in denial – all these are according to the North rumours carried by the so-called “pagan” Southerners and the NOKBEKWARANS!
• Sand dunes/dust bowls
• Windbreaks nearing zero level
• Mega dams acting as catalysts for the ‘desert fires’
• Intractable flooding
• Serious border porosity
• Unimaginable poverty level, making people to chew their teeth and drink water
• Imminent invasion of locusts – when locusts invade the North, what preparations are already in place?
• Diseases of all kinds
• Lack of potable wate which makes human being and animals drink water from mudufil
• The general zero level of investments due to pervasive insecurity
• High level of unemployment
• Scavenging and begging amongst children and young persons as a way of life.
• The menace of Hisbah, who in their characteristic officiousness have been violating people’s rights, especially those of Christians.
• Almost non-existent apprenticeship programmes
• The general lack of interest in Western education, especially since the mad philosophy/ideology of BOKO HARAM.
• The disappeared Baga fishing outpost
• Motherless and fatherless babies
• Indiscriminate and intractable population growth and its obvious (Malthusian catastrophe upon the North) consequences on the North and the nation
• Underaged parents
• Underaged/forced marriage.
• Girl-child education
• Sharp drop in school enrolment
• IDPs
• The absence of scientific livestock faming based on scientific research and global best practice to feed the millions of its people.
• Pervasive famine in the North
• Endemic drug culture in the North. Despite the fact that every nook and cranny of the North, including unlikely places are a washed with drugs, hypocritical and self-righteous North as ever is in denial, because in the very hate-filled warped mind of the North for the so-called “pagan” South, all evils come from the South!

NORTH (Fulani, Hausa, Kanuri and the Shuwa Arabs) AND THE SHAME OF LOCAL CHAMPIONS WITHOUT INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE

The South have a lot of international figures, in virtually all fields of human endeavour, but how many Nigerian citizens from the North have on their own efforts/talents/handwork/intelligence brought the Nigerian state international diadems/honours/awards, unprodded by the Government and through nepotism and hereditary privilege to become UN representatives?

I mean how many Ben Nwonwu, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Chris Okigbo, J.P.Clark, Buchi Emechetta, Flora Nwakpa, Niyi Osundare, Ben Okri, Emmanuel Arinze Ifeajuna, J.J. Okocha, John Fashanu, Kalu Nwankwo, Dick Tiger, Hogan ‘Kid’ Bassey, Ike Ibeabuchi, James Oyebola, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Power Mike, Power Uti, Obisia Nwakpa, Emeka Anyaoku, Adeoye Lambo, Adesina, Chimamandi Adichie, Phil Emeagwali, Pius Okigbo, Sam Aluko, etc, etc?

Yet the North which since 1960 has been stuck in the 6^th century, where to in the last seven years, TRUCK BUHARI has journeyed all Nigerians, including the children of the future generations of Nigeria, whereupon they delight in ONLY retrogressive and medievalist discourses – jihad, sharia, ruga, zangoism, hijab, Niqab, Hisbah, moon sighting and not moon exploration, cultural imperialism, traditional pastoralism rather than modern and scientific pastoralism, territorial expansion, ultra-conservative and archaic brand of religion (Islamism, extremism, wahabism, Salafism, Shiitism, jihadism, worrisome concern for the after – Aljanah and 72 wives; and such bestiality and gruesomeness as beheading, killer shepherds (herdsmen killers), mass wedding, uncontrolled procreation, Almajirism, Hisbahnism, irresponsible breeding, emphasis on Madrassas,  colonialism, total conquest of the indigenous South and the Nokbekwarans, blasphemy, never any talk about researches, development.

But without their unparalleled parasitism and leeching on the state, where will the Fulani, the Hausas, the Kanuris and Shuwa Arabs be? This over dependence of theirs on Governments are at the roots of the nation’s multi-faceted problems.

This abysmal level of parasitism explains why they remain in governments – in and out of governments until the end of their days in the here, especially their lack of imagination and inability to think out of the box – outside governments and perpetual political appointments.

A wife of Rilwanu Lukeman, former Minister many times over in many Departments in Governments was wont to be asking him having been embarrassed by his continuous remain in Governments: “Are you going to die in office?”

They live off Governments – on freebies from births to the graves and marry many wives and have hundreds kids whose names they hardly know or remember because of their sheer outlandish number - all at the expense of the toiling masses of Nigerians, particularly the Niger Delta wherefrom cometh the pots of gold to feed their outlandish lifestyles and their families.

This very grossly undisciplined way of bringing children into the world would make fathers of such embarrassingly very large families, again at the expense of the toiling masses of Nigeria, ask their children thus, especially when such children would greet them: “Whose son/daughter are you?”

Embarrassed, these children usually struggle to describe their mothers, sometimes to no avail, as their so-called fathers too will struggle to catch the image of their so-called mothers being described to this very irresponsible father of theirs.

For example, at a time Mr Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was lecturing the Nigerian people, particularly the Fulanis, the Hausas, the Kanuris and the Shuwa Arabs about having a manageable family, Junaid Mohammed was reported by some media in Nigeria as saying, Mr Lamido has 26 children!

 How about that grossly irresponsible and primitive Federal Legislator -

Dishonourable Alhassan Ado-Doguwa’s four wives and 27 children…all at the expense of the toiling masses of Nigeria, particularly the Niger Deltans!

How about his randy 68-year-old dad - 40 children he announced gleefully to an embarrassed world?

Unknown to Nigerians and the world, some of them have between 250 -500 children!

Incontrovertibly, this indiscriminate breeding confirms the fact that corruption is the North and the North is corruption, and not the South, repeat, not the South as the North often do give the wrong impression about the South in their self-righteous inclination and pharisaicalism

This amongst many reasons also, is the reason why they cannot let go of the governance of the Nigerian state, so other equal joiners in the Federation could rule the country for fear of losing out not only power, but all these freebies, pecks of office, political appointments, government contracts/patronage, oil wells, etc.

Besides the reason of domination and the Islamification of the secular Nigerian state, giving power to other ethnic nationalities within the Nigerian federation, our basic biology knowledge confirms to us that it is like separating the parasites from their host!

More so, they and they alone since the beginning of the nation’s odyssey are the only ones that do often overly get concerned/worried and jittery about a possible breakup of the Nigerian union. Here again, our simple biology lesson tells us that the parasites die when their hosts die! Thus, their usual tantrums of non-negotiability and indissolubility of the Nigerian state is not borne out of unalloyed loyalty and patriotism but simply because of the aforesaid reasons and many others too numerous to enumerate in this treatise.

THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE NORTH AND ITS CONSOLIDATED WEALTH

Just a cursory look at the wealth in the North, especially in the hands of the quartets reveal a sort of wealth without foundation (WWF), wealth without working (WWW) and wealth without sweating (WWS), which are traceable to government contracts and the oil well at the backyards of the Niger Deltans, and not (necessarily) through the dint of hard work!

We have hear of the richest men in Africa blah, blah, blah, but they have not told us how they came about such a bonanza other than their uncle loaned…blah, blah, blah and a man of a certain faith prayed for them for being courteous in the air/sky…blah, blah, blah!

So, what work are all the former heads of state from that part of Nigeria, former civil servants and top-level former Government appointees/politicians and political officials doing to earn a living and maintain/feed their ‘family battalions’ after retirement? And how many conference speeches have they been giving/delivering in and around the world to be remunerated like Obama, Blair, Mrs May, Cameron, etc? Also, this is how the retired military Generals and Police Chiefs across the globe do to earn a living after office.

Between the Northerners and the Southerners: When Northerners steal, they hide it in the hands of one person or better still, entrust it in the hands of one person or a group, whereas, the very loud South, notorious for their extravagant celebration would expose themselves by showing off and by being unnecessarily loud, hence in the event of any of those time-wasting fight against corruption, they are easily picked up, detained, tried and locked up by the usually Northern-dominated anti-corruption commissions/agencies.

Apart from looting and Sharia, the three things that pre-occupy the minds of the Fulanis, the Hausas, the Kanuris and the Shuwa Arabs are:

1. Domination
2. Domination
3. Domination (how they can conquer and subdue the Christians and the Shi’ites in Nigeria and dispossess them of their lands).

This playlet is a psychoanalysis lesson about a notorious psychopath suffering delusion of grandeur, leading to his often-erratic behaviour/tendency both at home and in public places.

He was nicknamed by the people of Magomago Land as Mr Kpandemic or Mr Combustible or Mr Walking Volcano, having an incurable short fuse. And whenever the feat is on him, he could become super-active, super-sensitive, supra-eruptive and explode with highly inflammable molten magmas of anger that no known human being can calm him down until the demon in him has destroyed his victims and things!

Enter, Mr Kpandemic (With an orderly behind whilst seated): Do you know who I’m?

Enter, Neighbour (Looking shocked and surprised): No! Who sai? But if you don’t know who you are, how then do you expect me to know who you are?

Mr Kpandemic: Do you know who you are talking to?

Neighbour: As a matter of fact, I shouldn’t be talking to a nonentity and a man suffering from acute and an incurable delusion of grandeur. And need I add that a bed has been prepared for you at the National Psychiatric Hospital, and an ambulance has been despatched to pick you up for an urgent treatment at the Mad People’s Ward (MPW).

Mr Combustible (Generally known for his legendary short fuse was ready to explode): I don’t want to come down to your level.

Neighbour: I stand on a higher moral platform in my deployment of the Charlesian chiselling/technique, beaming the Eyoan Searchlight on you to dissect your schizophrenics.

Mr Kpandemic: What’s your problem? Just what’s your problem? I will deal with you. Look at me properly; I’m not the type of person you can talk to like that. Look at me again: do I look like a hungry urban fox, rummaging every bin in the city? Let me tell you, I have never known hunger in my life. And I don’t even know the meaning of hunger, and I’ll never ever pray to know the meaning of hunger in my life. Just look at yourself like panla or should I say okproko?

See me see trouble-o. Do I look like one of those executive plate-licking Almajiri who have relocated their state houses to Jabu, just sitting hours on end at the Chief of Staff office’s reception to book appointments with him to beg Mr President for money or ask him for one personal favour or another?

ACT 2, SCENE 1

There was a sudden stir as a thoroughly dishevelled fellow jumped onto the stage uninvited. The orderly rushed forward to stop him, but he thrust him backward very furiously. That commotion was heightened with the arrival of the officials of the Jericho Road Ambulance Service (JRAS) who had come to remove Mr Combustible - the running mouth from public space to the National Psychiatric Hospital (NPH), where a room had been prepared for him. But on arrival they were taken aback and confused seeing the rubbish man hollering:

Enter, the beggar-like man, (protesting he was not the one to be removed from the public space, but Mr Short Fuse): I’m Government pikin, don’t touch me! Na that other man. No touch me, na that other man (pointing toward Mr Short Fuse).

Re-enter, Mr Kpandemic, (his orderly rushing to resist the Ambulance officials from taking him away. He warned): Don’t come near me, I’m hot. If you dare me I will explode on you like Boko bomb. Go to that mad man there and remove him from public space.

Re-enter, the Rubbish man: No come near me-o! I’m the emir of Lagoon for all the Peulas and the grand emir for the whole of SW. You refuse ruga, you refuse zango and you refuse the LTDP, abi you go refuse the National Integration and Cohesion Plan, NICP) of the Federal Government too?  We go bring sharia to your doorstep by marrying all your daughters. Gutter politician/rotten Bala, the barawo dey boys’ quarter – one time ego dey cry make dem obey agreement; another time him go shout in his dream say giraffe the pursue am, yet at another time e go dey dream for night pe: AFTER HIM NA ME! AFTER HIM NA ME-O!

Ogbeni Dindiri, make you open your ears wide open well, well…I say AFER HIM NA ME-O-O-O-(!) Or NEW NATION PARTY (NNP); Lekeh Banza dey sweep toilet and Kwande dey change tire for the old-dilapidated truck – and when him finish change dey tire, call the whole of your SW fifle to push am to the other side of the Niger, where the fifle there will pieces am as spare parts, put on each part – “Made in Taiwan”, “Made in Hong Kong”, “Made in China”, etc, and on every part in less than a second…abi you no know dey person dem send you to remove from public space? If na play, make you stop am-o.

Re-enter, the Ambulance official (wondering and thoroughly confused): Na who then be the mad man dem say make we come remove from public space? Na who be the mad man here?

ACT TWO SCENE TWO

Running amok, the ambulance official allowed his instinct the free reign and was running/moving towards anyone – just any member of the audience with his victims screaming out one after the other:

Enter, 1st Victim: Not me dey mad…I swear to Jehovah, not me dey mad, na dat man

Enter, 2^nd Victim: Not me dey mad, na that other man.

3^rd Victim, (Clutching at a book titled: The Rebound Phenomenon and the Youth Revolt Next Time): I beg, leave me joh, me I no dey mad…na dem youth dey mad. All dem jobless youth na explosives be them, first go remove these explosives from every street in Magomago Republic. Abi people wey eat forbidden fruits no go get God’s and people’s judgement? Do you have conscience? You have mortgaged and eaten their future and will not expect a fight back?

ACT TWO, SCENE THREE

Not wanting to be turned into a joke any longer, the Ambulance official/s rushed toward Mr Kpandemic, seated, agitated, and grabbed him.

Re-enter, Ambulance official: (Mr Kpandemic protesting as he was being led away into the waiting ambulance and warning him whilst on his shoulder): No dey do this monkey tricks here again. If you broke, make you go borrow money. And if you done take something, make you go drink oil palm. This country needs peace. Everybody done tire of your wahala, even Miyetti Wahala and Miyetti Katakata kuku ma done tire of your constant hollering. Whenever you take de thing, go sleep, no dey disturb the peace of Magomago land anymore. Must you always be in the news for the wrong reasons 24/7?

The curtain draws to a close from both ends as people were scampering to safety in the ensued commotion, with the light gradually fading and a background music of Peter Tosh:
