Tunde Bakare has said he hadn’t been to the bank for many years now as he probably maintains ‘bank’ in his house, where banks execs and other officials throng to woo or court him as a suitor would a spinster, simply because of the gullible and hapless Nigerians’ money whom he and his ilk have hoodwinked (them) with their sugar-honey-coated gospel to part with.
But I will tell Pastor Bank that right inside the Latter Rain Assembly and before his very eyes, are poverty-stricken Nigerians wearing just a pair of slippers to his church, most of whom cannot afford three square meals a day, and yet most cannot even afford just a loaf of pafu (a loaf of bread) as breakfast, and many more merely do yawn chewing their teeth, constantly yawning and sleeping whilst he hops from one end of the podium/pulpit preaching his gambit and jankara gospel, otherwise known as PROSPERITY GOSPEL.
Inside his LRA, there are thousands of young Nigerians without hope, most of whom have become very hopeless just because they have been looking for non-existent jobs as they daily move from one NO VACANCY OFFICE to another in torn/dishevelled clothes and worn out shoes; worse, many of them have not eaten for days, with many others yet don’t know whence comes their first semblance of meal for the day – guguru, bole, peanuts, chin-chin, Mama-put type food and eran huh-huh;
Many young Nigerians at the LRA have been going back to schools, colleges and the universities, not because they so want to do, having no jobs, after many years of graduation, the only way they reckon they can keep out of wahala is to escape again and again into the seeming strong ivory tower to acquire more and more degrees which end up compounding their problems – their employment prospects at the jobs market;
Right inside the LRA, there are many widows, without places to call their homes and with many children to cater for, whose in-laws, as is characteristic of the Nigerian society, have chased out of their so-called sons’ properties, labelling them as witches who had in fact, killed their sons;
Inside Brother Tunde’s Latter Rain, there are thousands with terminal medical conditions of all kinds, many of whom are on life-medication, but cannot afford the money to buy these medicines which are their only hope of survival;
In Brother Bank’s church, thousands of young Nigerians have abandoned their schools, colleges, the universities and their apprenticeships because they cannot afford the fees or the money for the apprenticeship training;
Due to the nation’s inherited colonial education, many there are a Nigerian at the LRA who like their counterparts/fellow citizens across the federation who equally benefitted from the goat-type education left the nation and indeed, Africa that do not know how to make copies of documents from the photocopy machines; how about a graduate training programme for such graduates?
There are many pregnant women at the LRA who cannot afford the much-needed balanced diet at this time, more do not have the money for both pre-and ante-natal cares;
Tunde doesn’t go to the bank, but he can invite ‘fellow’ bankers to his church to hold entrepreneurial training workshops/seminars/summits for young Nigerians and others who are sure to benefit from programmes such as these, instead of his yearly delusional STATE OF THE NATION address, which ought to be the exclusive right of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Just what is the relationship of this swashbuckler with fellow Nigerians living in the immediate neighbourhood, especially the food vendors and such other petty traders/artisans/trades people opposite his church?
Has Tunde ever entered any of the Mama-Puts around to eat, rather just to fake eating at Mama Akeem’s Buka and on leaving, hands over a cheque of between N25, 000 – N50, 000, letting it be known to the beneficiary: “Ejo wo Ma, ngbati me ole lo si banki, mo fe ke eyin lo si be ke fi change yi open account fu rare.”
At the slightest opportunity, especially when the feat of his overweening ambition is on him, the Arch-Buharist and COWOCRAT called Tunde Bakare would hop onto the next available plane – or is it a Presidential jet to go and hug Rehoboam, the clan head of Daura, better still DAURAGERIA for a photo-op!
But a voice from the Excellent Glory says to every Bakare, “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are!”
Tunde does receive malu from the worms in that inglorious LAND OF VULTURES OR LAND OF WORMS at festival periods, but how many has he given to the poverty-stricken neighbours opposite him, and in and around his church-factory?
There are many doctors at the LRA, but has he made them to serve his neighbours just for consultations/surgery and subsequent referral to any nearby Government hospitals?
There are many lawyers, himself being one, but how many times have they represented the indigents in his church and his immediate JERUSALEM – the Ogba environ?
As is characteristic of him, Bakare keeps boasting to whoever may care to listen to his VANITY TALES that he established the so-called SAVE NIGERIA GROUP with N70, 000, 000.00, but first, how did he come about this money, and still, wouldn’t it have been better, this whopping sum of money had been used to establish a local clinic for the people living in the immediate neighbourhood of his church?
Instead of always boasting, a true man of God would establish an entrepreneurial programme/scheme to give the LEAST OF THESE ONES cheques of between N25, 0000.00 – N50, 000.00 as a loan or as a gift from the church’s Upstart Business Scheme (LRA-UBS – which should immediately be established in this writer’s candid opinion to TB) to go to the bank and open a business account to be supervised by both the LRA Entrepreneur and Business Manager and the chosen bank who are LRA’s partners in this worthy scheme to prevent the pervasive awoof mindset of Nigerians since Bakare does not go to the bank.
This upstart business loan or gift will be the church’s contribution towards poverty alleviation or poverty eradication Programme (PAP/PEP) in Nigeria, and indeed, Africa.
Has Tunde Bakare ever witnessed or given a copy of the Bible to this his much talked about extremist and very bigoted friend, whose hand drips blood 24/7, and who is nothing but a bloody Butcher of Daura - herein after to be known and called REHOBOAM OF DAURA?
When a supposed man and prophet of God companies with Satan and the Anti-Christ whom he cannot change or has not made an effort to change, that so-called man and prophet of God is the very Satan and the Anti-Christ!
In the streets opposite his factory at Ogba or rather, in the streets in and around Ogba his Ogba neighbourhood, there are many kids, children and youngsters who can’t go to school because of school fees, and because they don’t have food to eat before thinking of such a ‘luxury’, but what has Bakare done, just what has TB done for the LEAST OF THESE ONES?
Having now caused all the banks in Nigeria to relocate to his private residence, so it seems, such that their CEOs now court and woo him as a suitor will woo a beautiful maiden in a Nigerian village, how many times has Tunde taken up the job matter of the jobless Nigerians in his factory with them?
Is there even a JOB NOTICE BOAT at the LRA? When I arrived newly in the UK and was worshipping at Ashimolowo’s Kingsway, I did suggest the creation of such a notice board as many brethren thinking I was one of the elders were coming to me with one problem after another. Although it took the elders a long time to buy into this suggestion of mine, they later did. But the other matter – accommodation which I had also, taken up with some elders at KICC on behalf of the brethren was not adhere to.
When still in Nigeria I was taking the cases of those brethren who also had thought I was an elder at the Christ Embassy, I remember a Deacon saying to me: “People come here because they think the church is rich.”
LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD
Tunde! Tunde! Tunde! Open your ears make I tell you: “Those whose palm kernels have been cracked for them by the benevolent spirits must not forget to humble themselves,” goes an African proverb.
And for those of us who like Bro TB have New Estate background and are still members of the New Estate Baptist Church, 57 Adisa Bashua Street, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria have not forgotten that when Brother Tunde Bakare was disowned and abandoned on ‘Jericho Road’ by his natural/biological father for converting to Christianity being formerly a Muslim, or from a Muslim family, so to say, it was a family in that our very church that picked up Brother Bakare from his ‘Jericho Road’ and took him to their ‘inn’ from that same ‘Jericho Road’, where lieth millions of young Nigerians, but which Brother Tunde like the priest has been turning the other way.
Brother Bakare, our MACHIAVELLIAN POLITICAL PASTOR would agree with me that our NATIONAL JERICHO ROAD replicates the Biblical Jericho Road, and young Nigerians thereon, having nothing to do job-wise, have enlisted themselves in the International Army of Satan (IAS) which have overrun the world, particularly Tunde’s Nigeria – the very Nigeria, he has been plotting unashamedly to rule, even if it means breaking every rule; and what is worse, not minding if he has been vexing seriously, a fellow pastor and a child of God, Pastor Oluleke Osinbajo, another Arch-Buharist/Cowcrat as not only Nigerians, but the whole wide world and the entire humanity know about his resort to Machiavellianism of the worst type to achieve that evil purpose of his.
These young persons are the ones now working in Satan’s many ‘factories’ as cultists, armed robbers, terrorists, herder terrorists or pastoral jihadists or pastoral terrorists or pastoral Islamists or pastoral extremists or herdsmen terrorists or what the press in Nigeria ignorantly refer to as “unknown gun men” or “unknown uniformed men”, bandits, drug peddlers, prostitutes, cattle rustlers, rapists, etc, etc.
As for venerable Enoch Adejare Adeboye, who too is an unrepentant Buharist and Cowocrat, the girl he allegedly sacked might help me to twit him thus: those who brought ant-infested faggots into the House of Nigeria must not begin to cry when they are receiving ants as visitors. And she might want to add hilariously that not 3-kilometre long church, but 3-kilometre-long factory or Apprenticeship Academy or Vocational Academy to be known and called THE REDEEMED VOCATIONAL ACADEMY (TRVA), so some of the jobless young Nigerians, including the Area Boys in his immediate South West geo-political zone and the Almajirai that are all over the North and presently scattered in and around Nigeria, from amongst whom terrorists groups such as Boko Haram, Ansaru, ISWAP do recruit can be engaged usefully, positively and wisely too!
If Daddy G.O. bought into this idea and suggestion of mine, God, history and posterity will remember that the RCCG under him did something practically to help our country in her hour of need and moment of exigency to put an end to the culture of Area Boyism or Agberoism, banditry, cattle rustling, herder-terrorism, rapping, armed robbery, prostitution and other crimes generally in the country.
We hear His Grace recently added street struggle (Aluta) to his long standing record of spiritual activism, but this writer would like to ask, where was Enoch Adejare Adeboye when IBB enlisted Nigeria in the OIC, and later when sharia was introduced by the Fulani, Hausa and Kanuri Sunni Muslims in 2009 under that arch-Fulanist, Olusegun Obasanjo, including the hijacking of institutions and governance in Nigeria by Muhammadu Rehoboam Buhari, whilst his son in the Lord, that frontline Rugologist and Omo Odo at GIDA USMANU FODUYE, Oluleke Osinbajo just dey siddon look?
Also, Pope David Oyedpo too must be told ho-ha that not 10,000 churches, but 10, 000 factories!

- This writer who used to be a follower of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is right now in tears that that once giant of a man of God, for fear of losing members of his congregation, veered off the path of the TRUE GOSPEL, first by creating the so-called REDEEMED MODEL CHURCHES which were just rendezvous for all flesh exhibitors - where gathered, skimpy, half-cladded, half-naked women - Jezebel of all sorts, with yellowish succulent frontal carica papaya and undulating rear topographies to suck in the prevailing FOOD IS READY…ALL THINGS ARE YOURS Gospel which came in the wake of the Western nations’ induced Structural Adjustment Programme of the 80s as introduced by the Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida Government with Olu Falae as the chief priest.
- It is a thing of lament to remember upon reflection that Enoch moved from his then trademark announcement of “STAND WHEREVER YOU ARE, THE SPIRIT IS MOVING to every audience/congregation wherever he was then called upon to minister – to the now - stand wherever you are the Spirit has stopped moving, but make sure you DROP YOUR POUNDS, DOLLARS and not nyama-nyama NAIRA in the offering and tithes bags which the ushers are passing around…and for a big miracle and breakthrough extravaganza, make sure you give your ISAAC!
My fellow Nigerians, the greatest sickness and woe befalling our Nigeria today might not be the ongoing seeming intractable killings by Boko Haram, Ansaru, ISWAP, bandits, herdsmen, armed robbers, ritualists, extra-judicial killings, killing by politicians and their much dreaded private and official killing squads, other Nigerians killing fellow Nigerians, or actually preying on one another, raping or the fact that some disillusioned Nigerians have turned the Lagos lagoon to the now LAGOS MARINE GRAVE (LMG), etc, but the gross lack of creativity, inventiveness, imaginations, innovation in every sub-leadership unit – in the polity, economy and in the religio-spirituality sphere.
It is the more worrisome to this writer that Enoch Adejare Adeboye who by every reckoning qualifies to be seen/regarded/considered and referred to as THE SPIRITUAL FATHER OF THE NATION, has been the one ‘sleeping’ with every politician of note in the country, thus refusing to speak the utmost word of truth to authorities and political officials and condemn their intransigence against the nation and the Nigerian people.
And as a close watcher of every activity that does daily go on at the Redeemed Holy Ground (RHG), Adeboye should ask himself – which of all the politicians/political officials he had invited to that holy ground of prayer, beginning from Bamidele Ishola Olumilua, former Governor of Ondo State till the very present will escape the Baptist’s winnowing fork and axe?
This writer was amongst the young Nigerian Christian students with whom Enoch had shared the vision of Redeemed, then a mere camp inside and surrounded by very thick forest during one of the yearly NIFES held at the then Redeemed Camp, and he never missed any of this very important and very rewarding spiritual retreats by the Nigerian Christian students.
This writer would remember very vividly that on one of such retreats, particularly the 1986 edition, Adeboye would specially attend to all his questions, separately from other Christian students, on one on one regarding this great vision of his – amongst such questions included whether the then marvellously longish camp, then merely wooden pillars and corrugated iron sheets would be left so, dismantled and later replaced with blocks – a sort of proper building.
He was to later invite Pastor Adeboye to the Daily Times against the opposition of even his Born Again-tongue speaking Christians colleagues, some of whom were not just members of the RCCG but elders at Redeemed, to pray for the Times during its 75th Anniversary in 2001 in his capacity as Chairman, Editorial Board of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc.
Whilst on the podium this writer had invited the man of God to be prayed for, as a way of ministering back to a man whom when this writer led a three-man delegation comprising Executive Management staff of the Daily Times to deliver the invite and was told by Adeboye’s senior staff that he had been booked for the whole year, yet had to create the time to be at Agidingbi to pray for the Times and its staff, including Nigeria!
It would also be stated here that whilst Pastor Adeboye was on his knees being prayed for by the staff and dignitaries, amongst whom were invited State Governors, some of his colleagues became so envious as to grouse why he had to make such a great man of God kneel down publicly.
Edwin Baiye particularly, the then Director of Publications of the Times was so peeved, and moved by extreme jealousy and envy, hopped onto the podium to interrupt the prayer asking me to release the man, saying : “Release him and let him go. You know he is a very busy man.”
Following Baiye’s rude interruption, I had to end leading the prayer for Pastor EAA.
Whilst the gang of my envious colleagues at Agidingbi were not happy at the scene of Pastor Adeboye kneeling down to be prayed for, that infectious humility of EAA was very much praised throughout Nigeria, and every print media in Nigeria gave the picture of EAA kneeling down to be prayed for, a prominent and strategic front page position as well as the prominence which the broadcast media gave to that humble image of the man of God.
Truth was, Pastor EAA knelt of his own accord and volition, unasked by this writer who then was the Chairman Planning and Organising Committee of the Daily Times’s 75th Anniversary.
It would be recalled that the committee which worked without a budget under this writer raked in over N6 million into the coffers of the Times. This was conspicuously written on a black board and placed on the Times Hallway and was well documented.
Whilst still in the newsroom in Nigeria, the successes which this writer and his team recorded at the Times and another very successful project he had carried out with his staff regarding a National Supplement for The Punch on the Ministry of Works and Housing under the late Major-General Abdulkareem Adisa at a time when the Punch was not getting a single advert, repeat at a time when The Punch was not getting a single advert, just grey every publication and all publications that the paper could boast of at the time, made the writer to conclude that Nigerians hate success!
This conclusion is based on my practical experiences amongst the most enlightened and sophisticated group in Nigeria - the members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm, but it is the story and exact mirror of the Nigerian society.
There are people who hate seeing Nigeria making progress as this would cut them out of their dirty businesses and stop their conspiracy against the Nigerian State, wherefrom they do get their daily bread and mind-boggling loots!
Thus, whilst it can be said that Nigeria is not working for the majority, it has in fact, since the Amalgamation in 1914, been working for the few!
