“The next day he visited them again and saw two men of Israel fighting. He tried to be a peacemaker. ‘Men,’ he said, ‘you are brothers. Why are you fighting each other?’ Acts 7:26.

STEPS TOWARD RESOLUTION

  • Report Ghana to AU
  • SEND GEOFFREY ONYEAMA TO DELIVER A FORMAL PROTEST AND DISAPPOINTMENT LETTER TO NANA AKUFO-ADDO
  • SEND CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO TO GHANA ON A FACT-FINDING MISSION ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF NIGERIA AND ALL PERSONS OF AFRICAN DESCENT
  • JERRY J. RAWLINGS TO LEAD AN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF GHANA AND ALL PERSONS OF AFRICAN DESCENT
  • MAY RECALL NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSIONER TO GHANA (OPTIONAL)
  • FORMAL INVESTIGATION BY THE AU TO BE HEADED BY ANY FORMER HEAD OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT IN AFRICA.

MESSAGE: Let us not fight, for we are brothers and sisters. And if we do fight, it is the strangers that will as usual benefit, for it will not only serve their interest when we fight each other, nor will they only laugh at us, but they will say: “It is their nature to fight and devour each other”; and they will be the beneficiaries and we the losers.

I had already proposed that Africa should reconfigure the world in her own image in the post-CONVID/pandemic world to include all persons of African descent. It will, therefore, be preposterous for Africans to sit at the table of African brotherhood with anger, bitterness, and hatred in their hearts.

Again, all that have been befalling Africa and indeed, the world, are due to the current vacuum in African and global leadership.
