Nneka on the marble

Nneka Ozoka was born, educated and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria's former Capital City, now highly politicised and very much divided.

In and ideal society, where things work, and the people are out to promote nationhood, instead of the current chaos and seeming permanent flux into which the Association of Political Crooks, the APC have plunged the nation, Ms Ozoka by every standard of civility and democracy in advanced polities is naturally a Lagosian, but only has her ancestral roots in  Nnewi, Nigeria's Japan - in the present Anambra State.

Ms Ozoka attended Nazareth primary school in Festac, Lagos and later went to Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls from 1997 to 1998 and transferred to Queen's College, Yaba in Lagos from 1998 to 2003, where she finished her secondary school.

She afterwards enrolled at a private university,  Igbinedion University,  Okada in Edo State, where  she studied for and obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery.

Upon completion of her studies at IUO, she registered for the compulsory National Youth Service Scheme and was posted to the Guards Brigade Medical Centre,  Mambilla Barracks in Abuja, the current Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, where she was the Liaison Officer for all the Corps members.

Pretty Ozoka is currently doing her Post Graduate studies in Public Health at City University, London, one of United Kingdom's highly reputable universities.

And not surprising, high flying Ozoka, dreaming beyond the sky in her service to God and humanity is the class representative of the course and she was recently elected as the International Student Officer (ISO) and National Union of Students' Officer for the great citadel of learning - City University.

Ozoka said: "After attending the national union of students course reps 2016 conference, it ignited in me a desire to represent international students , with a motive to encourage a more valuable and memorable experience amongst us."

She added: "Serving at such a very high level in the institution offers one a sort of political empowerment – a platform to speak on pertinent issues that worry international students whom I now represent and bringing such to the attention of the relevant authorities within the institution."

During her campaign for the much coveted ISO's and NUSO's elective posts, her winning strategies were to engage with her fellow students at the famous multicultural university which boasts of bringing students from over 150 nations together to be taught by their erudite scholars from over 75 countries; doing student to student campaign; distributing leaflets, whilst maintaining her usual calmness, urbanity and unparalleled sagacity - putting her visions in writing as below for everyone severally to see, read and make up their minds, unlike the gang of crooks in the APC back home in Nigeria, with the leader of that buccaneer gang, one Muhammadu Buhari, popularly known as Baba Daura, the internatioal almajiri who has lost his roosting ability, hence junketing round the world standing at the World's Beautiful Gates soliciting 'alms' which he and his cohorts will share as their perks of office and national bonanza.

But isn't it about time the two touts and parallelists in the now Rivers of Blood, Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesom Wike engaged Ms Ozoka as their political strategist and campaign consultant instead of turning good old Rivers State to ACELDAMA - Field of Blood?

OZOKA'S CAMPAIGN MESSAGE:

VOTE OZOKA NNEKA CRYSTAL FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OFFICER.

Dependability! Unity!! Transparency!!! Diversity!!!!

  • Improving multicultural events throughout the year.
  • Encouraging unity in diversity, representing views and promoting equality.
  • Increasing international students involvement at student union’s activities.
  • Campaigning for fairer tuition fees, scholarships and post-study work visa regulations.

Always having the future before her, Nneka hopes to do her PhD residency in her medical profession in order to become a specialist in addition to doing a lot of volunteering in children's and women's NGOs.

Currently, she is the founder of a non-governmental organization called CLOTHE THE WORLD FOUNDATION (CWF) which donates clothes and house hold materials to the society's poor and Aisha Buhari will do well to borrow a leaf from this noble venture of hers as since the 29th of May, 2015, like her husband, she remains thorougly confused, not knowing what to do, hence both of them have been vacillating all over the place, having both come to that exalted place of service without ideas and a blueprint/s!

An avid reader, Ms Ozoka has a penchant for writing inspirational messages - one of which is pictured above, besides giving motivational talks before diverse audiences in the UK and in Nigeria.

Nneka who guards her faith jealously, also enjoys listening to Christian songs, because "I get a lot of my inspiration from these."

And as a keep-fit enthusiast, she exercises quite often and really does enjoy staying fit.
