Therefore, in its continued efforts to stop illicit financial flows in the Nigerian banking system which aligns with the anti-money Laundering stance of the Federal Government, the CBN hereby prohibits from the date of this circular the acceptance of foreign currency cash deposits by DMBs."

We intend to ignore the fact that we have other supportive services, for instance, we have the policemen, who are specialists in various departments of the force like the tailors, traffic wardens, the civilian staff, working in our account departments and the medical personnel, among others .

And when we talked about the total number of police, we lumped all these together. But the IGP has decided that we should know exactly what percentage of the total number of personnel that we have been talking about is actually in the physical policing work. And that I think it will help us in moving forward."
