Emperor Rehoboam of Magomago Land had recently told the youth of the nation that for them to get jobs, they needed to behave themselves henceforth. And heeding that advice, a youth who had been looking for jobs in the last ten years after graduating from Magomago National University of Science and Technology (MNUST) went to sit at the emperor’s palatial castle gate called “Ugly”.

At a time that Nigeria is facing her worst security threats in recorded history, the three good-for nothing men who have failed her the most are her so-called Federal Minister of Interior, Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, who has zero knowledge and credentials in Homeland Security, yet has been floating in the Ministry of Interior like a plankton - floating under the flotsam and jetsam of life since August 2019, Muhammadu Dingyadi, minster of Police Affairs, and Major-General Bashir Salihi Magashi, a General without an iota knowledge of strategic defence!
Whilst the President, Muhammadu Buhari, an equally retired Major-General, whose strategic defence and counter-terror knowledge is simply nil, and his egboda Presidency (Yala, for counterfeit) have been getting all the poundings from the press in Nigeria, the Nigerian people and the global public, the three not-good-value-for-money ministers – Aregbe, the legendary Lover Boy, whose love letter to his wife, Sheri should make entry into the Guinness Book of Records, Magasheet and dingy-Dingyadi have been shielding in the comfort of their ‘bunkers’, as the critics’ ballistic missiles flew the ways of the nation’s Service Chiefs, the President and his propaganda/lying Presidency.
It’s not that these three okponka and good-for-nothing boys have escaped me ever since, I have in fact, written an article, although yet to be published calling for their resignation if they have any sense of shame or be fired. But they were suddenly brought onto my radar, courtesy of an award billed to be presented to Soji by a group of counterfeit-junk-more blessings-alamajirai-kilejeku( ?) journalists, which was received by me as a sort of insult upon injury or pouring salt over a wound!
It’s as if saying the good and great people of Nigeria, despite the warped thinking of that impetuous Okonkwo, Igboho X, were fools as not to have put Aregbe and Sali in their balance.
With respect to that so called award Grand Patron of NUJ in the South-West to Soji from the hungry jounralists, if indeed, Soji is truly, truly OMOLUABI OF YORUBA LAND, he must reject that award as back to their senders – to the Brown-envelope-seeking hungry journalists, who I refused to believe have been on the planet earth since 2010, but just came visiting from Erebus, hence their proposed satanic award to Soji. The long and short of my invitation to RAUF ADESOJI AREGBESOLA, BASHIR SALIHI MAGASHI and MUHAMMED MAIGARI DINGYADI is that they must resign immediately as Ministers of Interior, Defence and Police Affairs and go hang their heads in shame in their houses.
And if those journalists have just a modicum of simple sense in them, they should sit down and reflect on the ever-worsening insecurity in Nigeria and the number of deaths, the injured, properties destroyed and the current dysfunctionality of the Nigerian Federation under the so-called Omoluabi of Yoruba Land since August 2019 when he was appointed Federal Minister of Interior by Muhammadu Buhari – yet they should still hang their heads severally afterwards in an unparalleled shame.
Lest I forget, as Soji is on his way back home in Osun State, he must deposit that his love letter to Sheri at the National Museum or the National Library – and he has just 24 hours to do that – jokes apart!
How to tackle the conspiracy and the confederacy of the ethno-religious armed robbers and armed invaders in Nigeria
Now, a national re-classification of all the armed ravaging wolves preying on every Nigerian in every nook and cranny of the country is needed if we are to without recourse to any form of emotion rout them all out of the national system and spaces, including anything and anybody that currently constitutes a threat to national security – such that henceforth, all illegally or unlicensed armed persons with the sole aim of perpetrating evil, whether terrorists/extremists/jihadists/Islamists or armed herders or bandits or rapists, mindless abductors, kidnappers should all be lumped together as armed robbers and dealt with very ruthlessly with utmost immediacy and without sentimentality in order to set our Nigeria and Africa free from these predators and savage wolves. He was a member of the Green Environment Movement, and the Nigerian Field Society (1990-2003), he was on the Core Committee of the National Technology Summit and doubled as the Summit’s Publicity; Products and Exhibition Chairman, 1998.
Other national and important committees on which Aduma has also served or headed included the National Planning Committee, Youth Development, Federal Ministry of Education and Youth Development, 1993; Core Committee, the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF)/Ford Foundation, Kano Eastern Bypass Roadside Tree Planting Exercise, 1997; Chairman, Planning Committee, Alhaji Babatunde Jose’s 75th Birth Day, 2000, (Dr. Jose was a doyen of Nigerian journalism and was the first African Editor, Managing Director and Chairman of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc); Chairman, Planning Committee of the 7th and 8th General Murtala Muhammed’s Memorial Lecture (the late Nigerian Head of State), 2001 and 2002; Chairman, Planning Committee of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc’s 75th Anniversary, 2001 including sitting on many national techno-industrial committees (too numerous to mention here) in his capacity then as Executive Secretary, Foundry Association of Nigeria.
Aduma, Communications/Environmental Consultant, Critic, Poet, Essayist, and Columnist, was formerly Staff Reporter, The Guardian (flagship of the Nigerian media) 1990-1993; Consultant/Chairman, Media, Green Environment Movement, Nigeria, 1990-2003; Senior Correspondent, The Independent Weekly, (1993-1994); Head, Environment and Property Desk, The Punch (1994-1997); Editorial Consultant and Contributing Editor, the Nigerian Conservation Foundation’s Tortoise Magazine, 1995; Contributing Editor, Pole Star Magazine (1998); Member, Editorial Board of The Nigerian Conservationist Magazine (1995-2000), Executive Secretary, Foundry Association of Nigeria, (1997-2000), Southern Coordinator/Public Affairs Manager, The Pastoral Resolve, 2000, (a pastoralists NGO) headed by one of Nigeria’s former Head of State), General Muhammadu Buhari, presently, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; and Chairman, Editorial Board of the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc (2000-2003).
He was one of the twelve eminent Nigerians appointed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) of Nigeria into the Administrative Panel of Inquiry, also known variously as Presidential Panel, Commission of Inquiry, respectively to investigate the illegal trade in and smuggling of Endangered Species of Flora and Fauna into and out of Nigeria in 2003.
In year 2003, he attended the Chevening Leadership Programme, (sponsored by the British Council and Shell) at the elite Lagos Business School (the Pan-African University) in Nigeria and thereafter, proceeded to the United Kingdom as a British Chevening Scholar to study International Journalism at City University, London, where he worked for and obtained an MA in International Journalism with specialism in environment.
Between 2005 - 2009 he was Media Director, PRONACO (Pro-National Conference), UK/Europe.
In addition to his array of degrees and extensive experience in journalism, environment, development, international diplomacy and international security, Mr Aduma obtained the AET (Award in Education and Training), Level 3 from CONEL, a Further Education College and member of the Capital City College Group (CCCG), London, including Higher Education courses in Education and Training – the CET (Certificate in Education and Training) Level 4 and the Specialist Diploma in Teaching English: ESOL & Literacy, Level 5 from the same Further Education College, all in 2018.
Aduma is currently a doctoral researcher at SOAS and he is the Chief Executive Officer of VIGILANCE-THE WORLD’S LEADING SECURITY MAGAZINE (www.vigilance-securitymagazine.com) and the founder of Scorpion News Corp (www.scorpionnewscorp.com).
