....The Mai Kunu-Ngbati Alliance From 1817 Till The Present And The Scramble for Nigeria Under Bad Loser Muhammadu Buhari

(Part One)

Ethnicist/Regionalist Muhammadu Buhari contested to rule Nigeria whilst being a Co-Patron of the regional assembly Arewa Consultative Forum with four other former Heads of State/Presidents such as Yakubu Gowon, Shehu Shagari, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Atiku Abubakar...do you think an arch ethnicist/regionalist/religious bigot like Buhari will be fair to all Nigerians? But why was his candidature not voided when it is well known he is a highly partisan and divisive figure?

Mr Rilwan Akiolu..the monarch who put a knife on the string that held his compatriots together...Making Lagos a Special Federal Territory and making it a criminal offence for any person whoever such a person is, North/South of Nigeria to treat fellow citizens unfavourably as to referring to them as "settlers", "non-indigenes", "non-natives", "guests"/"strangers" carrying a jail term of 7-14 years, if not now, when? But will the unity of Nigeria be ensured under the APC Government? Also, who was the original author of Akiolu's divide and rule monkey tricks with a consequence of hurling citizens into the Lagos lagoon if they snubbed his ELECTIMIDATION? This man says he is the owner of Lagos...in that case, the APC whose trade mark arrogance crows to high heavens...it can thus be safely said since Muhammadu Buhari is ACF's Member Board of Patrons will be holding Nigeria as a trust territory for the House of Uthman Dan Fodio?

Mr Babatunde Fashola, the Lawyer Governor who deported Nigerian citizens resident in Lagos to 'their country' East of the Nigeria...time to make Lagos whose ownership is now under a serious contention a Special Federal Territory (SFT). But who really, really owns Lagos?

"If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way."

- EMILE ZOLA

The just concluded voting exercises in Nigeria, I would say rather than dignifying them and flowing with the ignorant majority on the two halves of the Atlantic by calling them "elections", what really transpired on the 28th of March and April the 11th 2015 in the name of GENERAL ELECTIONS were in fact, what I have coined a name for, henceforth to be known and called ELECTIMIDATIONS. And because these exercises were officially referred to as "General Elections" by a supposed national body, but otherwise now a self-serving regional/ethnic/nepotistic body wrongly called THE INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION, to refer to this highly partisan body as "Independent" is a misnomer; also to refer to this now regional body as "National" is to display gross naivety; still to allude to it as "Electoral" is to commit the worst sacrilege against conscientious humanity and posterity, finally to refer to it as a "Commission" is to be dishonest.

I have been writing on the population question for over 26 years and I do not want to rehash myself in this piece which I'm now writing because of the acute pain right now in a region of my soul, which does often reoccur in me again and again in times like these. But until this is resolved there cannot be such a thing as free and fair elections in Nigeria; until this is resolved there cannot be such a thing as true democracy in Africa's most populous country. Although I'm very troubled at this time, but consoled by the fact that as Martin Luther King Jr. had said: "Truth cast down will yet rise again."

Ordinarily, it would have been fair to refer to it as "The National Electoral Commission of Nigeria" (NECN) were Nigeria yet one country and had the issues of the country's population been resolved since 1962 after the first population census was conducted in independent Nigeria, first under the Chairmanship of a colonial administrator J. Warren Buffet who was later to be sacked by Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, one of the arch agents of the Hausa-Fulani/descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio for telling the truth about the geographical distribution of the country's population when Southern Nigerian population had higher figures in that first national census which was and still the case, and when it was re-conducted in 1963 by the same forces/people who began troubling Nigeria as a young nation and have passed onto their descendants the same wahala baton, which the Hausa/Fulani people and the Yorubas have at will, been handing over to each other since 1964 beginning from the NPC/NNDP ALLIANCE leading to OPERATION WETIE in 1965, spiralling into the July 15, 1966 Major Kaduna Nzeogwu-led coup consequent upon the avoidable civil war lasting 30 months.

Thus, our Nigeria is a relay race. And in that relay only the Hausa-Fulanis and the Yorubas do always feature with one at intervals having taken the baton and run the race to a point; hand it over to the other, whilst other Nigerians from the sidelines do watch either as mere passive observers or active observers cheering and clapping as the case may be, or simply play ostriches and if that baton does ever fall to the ground, the cheering and clapping committee members (CCCM/3CM) fawn and obsequiously bend down, pick the baton and hand it over immediately to either of the athletes.

(The fourth part of this essay traces the genesis of the Ngbati-Mai Kunu Alliance from the earliest times till the present - Afonja/Alimi Alliance, consequent upon the ceding of Ilorin, a Yoruba land to the Hausa-Fulanis, a situation which has continued throughout the fragmentations of the country by the Bello/Balewa's First Republic and through the various Hausa-Fulani military agents who still dominate the lie that passes as the Nigeria Armed Forces (NAF), when in fact, what really does exist currently are the Armed Forces in Nigeria (AFN), consequent upon the current proliferation of ethnic militias which I have given the name THE ALTERNATIVE ARMED FORCES/THE ALTERNATIVE POLICE FORCES amongst which are the OPC, the Niger Delta Militias, Boko Haram, MASSOB, Bakassi Boys, Egbesu Boys of Africa, etc, etc, as Nigerians, sorry "settlers" no longer have confidence in the Arewa official military outfit erroneosly called the Nigeria Armed Forces and the Nigeria Police, etc.

Nigeria is believed to have up to 350-450 ethnic nationalities, but why has it then ridiculously become an/a Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba affair? More than any time in the history of Nigeria, the just concluded Atahiru jega's ELECTIMIDATION offers a fine opportunity for the country to revisit the September 1957 Hary Willink Commission of Inquiry on the fears expressed by the the Minority Ethnic Groups in the midst of the three major ethnic groups - Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa! This must be looked into alongside the place of Ndigbo under the current political fraud as what has passed as elections was in fact, a gang up of the House of Uthman Dan Fodio and the House of Odua against the rest of the country culminating in further putting asunder of whatever fragile integration the nation has achieved since independence in 1960, especially the modicum of integration and the false peace it claimed to have attained at the end of the civil war on January 15, 1970, which the gang in the APC and its agent in the person of Mr Rilwan Akiolu have intentionally put a sword on, this is in addition to the deportation of some Nigerian citizens from Lagos to the East of the Niger, their 'country' by the ethnicist Babatunde Fashola.

By the way, is this very matter in court right now, so the so-called "deportee-settlers" have their dignity restored back to them and be given a just recompense? And never again MUST this very obloquy championed by the Lagos political gang/thugs including their local clan head Mr Akiolu ever occur in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where what ought to matter and be promoted by all and sundry is CITIZENSHIP and not SETTLERSHIP/INDIGINIZATION!

By the time the euphoria arising from the ELECTIMIDATIONS dies down, Nigerians will discover that APC has conspired to take them back to the 60s through their unparalleled avarice, personal aggrandizement and by such unreasonableness and illogicality, not only have helped to re-capture power for the power-lust House of the Hausa-Fulani and the descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio, but lamentably have succeeded in putting a sword on the umbilical cord that binds the people of Nigeria together.

Although they now excitedly celebrate the return of power to the House of Uthman Dan Fodio having heavily relied on Machiavellianism using various threats of anarchism as "the dogs and the baboons will be soaked in blood if..", threatening to form a parallel government with their Western collaborators barking at Nigerians like the alsatian bulldogs they have always been have succeeded in pitching Christians against Christians - Catholics against Protestants, Protestants against Catholics, Pentecostals against Pentescostals, Catholics against Pentecostals, Pentecostals against the Catholics, Ultra-Prosperity Preachers (UPP) against Moderate Prosperity Preachers (MPP), Northern Christians against Southern Christians, Southern Christians against Northern Christians, CAN North against CAN South, CAN South aganst CAN North; Muslims against Christians; North against South; South against North, the so-called indigenes and non-indigenes, natives/children of the soil against the so-called non-natives/settlers/strangers/guests; parasites and non-parasites, Yorubas against Ndigbos (I need to warn the Yorubas and Ndigbo about the divide and rule method of the House of Uthman Dan Fodio which is a colonial inheritance they have always used to keep the South permanently divided whilst their feudalistic reign lasts - the recent irresponsible outburst of clan head Akiolu is all part of that agenda); Ndigbos against Yorubas, Hausa-Fulanis against Ndigbos; Ndigbos against Hausa-Fulanis; ethnic majorities against ethnic minorities; ethnic minorities against ethnic majorities, Southern minorities against Northern minorities; Northern minorities against Southern minorities; Areas boys against Igbo traders and Igbo traders against Area Boys, militants against the in-coming Government; the media against the media; the Northern media against Southern media; South West media against South South media, South West Media against South East Media; South East Media against South West Media; parties against parties, etc, etc.

This is what politics of greed and unparalleled lust for power always does to a polity and APC has used electimidations to snatch the 'crown' back to the Hausa-Fulanis at the expense of the country's very fragile unity and peace. What this very gang stands for will be exposed/revealed in the coming days, weeks, months and years as there's nothing hidden that shall not be revealed.

Since my born years, I have always envisioned and worked towards the realization of the political kingdom of Nigeria and nothing else, oneness of all persons of African ancestry and the oneness of all of humanity in all realms and climes without recourse to ethnicity, tribalism, regionalism, favouritism, nepotism and racism and walking in this national, continental and universal consciousness, my mind has no place for such ignominy and indignity as indigenes, non-indigenes, settlers and immigrants, but citizens/citizenship and being a great cosmic part of human brotherhood and adopting/embracing as it were, universal altruism as my personal motto and creed, for are all men and women the world over not brothers and sisters, are we not all of God's children that have currently peopled the earth citizens of the same universe?

There cannot be a most auspicious time for the Nigerian nation to start her experiment on multi-racialism/culturalism to rid the House of Nigeria of such nonsense as "non-indigenes" and "settlers". What is more, all Nigerians who are thinking of what I'm thinking should join me in proposing an Act of the National Assembly/Parliament to make it a criminal offence carrying a jail term of between 7-14 years for anyone who will refer to Nigerian citizens in any part of the country as "settlers"/"non-indigenes" and anyone person who will 'Fasholise (deport)' Nigerian citizens in any part of Nigeria to another should spend a minimum of 21 years in jail and a maximum of 35 years, for no person of a sane mind will ever conceive the idea of deporting a citizen from one part of the hyphenated State/unit to another! Babatunde Fashola a lawyer should hang his head in shame for pioneering this malady.

In view of the traditional fraudulent nature of the super-volcanic, super-restive and super-eruptive polity which I 'd like to simply call NIGERIAGHANISTAN, coupled with the present divisions amongst Nigerians exacerbated by the just concluded electimidations, unless we are deceiving ourselves, it is not yet possible to have and build any national institutions, hence I would rather refer to the body that conducted the just concluded electimidations as the Selection Committee in Nigeria (SCIN), just as we do not yet have the Nigerian Press, but the Press in Nigeria, not yet the Nigeria Armed Forces, but the Armed Forces in Nigeria, not yet the Nigeria Police, but the Police in Nigeria, etc.

Just as it is not a national body, it yet cannot be regarded as a COMMISSION, but a COMMAND, hence should be known and called: NORTHERN SELECTION COMMAND (NSC) as you have in the Northern Defence Academy which I once told the late General M.B. Haladu then in his capacity as the Commandant of that regional institution called the NDA. Hence, the co-conspirators in the just concluded charade are the former Garrisons' Commanders amongst whom are Olu Obasanjo behaving like a child in a kindergarten campaigning unshamedly and embarrassingly for APC against the PDP under whose platform he rode back to power twice as a civilian President including other kid-Generals most of whom till the very moment of writing this piece are patrons of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) which make them not elder statesmen and heroes, but regional champions, religious and ethnic bigots.

And Obasanjo must do well to keep quiet henceforth without troubling the nation any more and constantly heating the polity when any Government in power does not do his biddings - since Shagari's period till the present, for it was not out of national interest, but personal vindictiveness/vendetta against President Jonathan and his PDP that he plotted the civil coup together with other kid-Generals in the Kaduna Mafia which had seen Jonathan leaving office without doing a second term as other Presidents from the major ethnic groups including himself had done in the past.

It is very wrong for us to run or encourage a situation when a President can be respected ONLY when they are from the majority groups - would Sanusi Lamido Sanusi have been so totally disrespectful of a President from his ethnic nationality as he had done to and continued to treat President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with utter disdain? Were Jonathan from a major ethnic group in Nigeria, would all the Generals have treated him with such disdain; would traitor Mohammed Namadi Sambo simply played an ostrich throughout the tenure of GEJ and remain so insignificant and a mere footnote under a naturally weak Jonathan?

What really were Sambo's positive roles in helping quell tensions from his part of the country whilst their tenure lasted; what really has Sambo done since the House of Nigeria has been on fire Boko Haram-wise? I call on God and history to judge all those who have treated Jonathan so shabbily all because he is from the minority ethnic group. This is not how to build a country. Repeat, this is not how to build a country. More, would it have been so easy for Sani Abacha to kill Ken Saro Wiwa were he from either the Hausa-Fulani ethnic nationality or the Yoruba ethnic nationality? Also, were Odi in the Hausa-Fulani States, or Yoruba, would an Obasanjo have so easily razed down a whole community for killing just seven (12?) police personnel, instead of doing what a civilized nation would have done by going after just the culprits and bringing them to justice?

Obasanjo must henceforth not only keep quiet and discuss issues of national importance with the incoming Government of Buhari over breakfast, lunch or dinner, but must learn to give all after him the benefit of the doubt that they can steer the ship of State without him - as no one in that country, no matter who the person is, is indispensable to Nigeria. If that country can go on without the giants of old, she can continue to plod on until it can take off and soar without the present generation of efulefus who pass for Nigerian rulers, constantly on ego trip having stolen the country blind and now living in obscene wealth, always looking for relevance through headlines - how many ex-Nigerian rulers have charities through which they render selfless services to any Nigerian communities of their choices after having left office? Were they really statesmen, they would be living in other parts of the country other than their birth places.

As soon as the incoming Government of Buhari is sworn in, all former rulers must let them be and stop competing for headlines on daily basis with him and his team and after just three weeks in the life of the administration begin to assemble the press to compare the Government with theirs. This is an exercise in idiocy, and at best, an ego trip. Nigeria would not have laid prostrate as it is today if all concerned had acted their part well when it was their time to do so.

I hereby warn all former Presidents including INCORRIGIBLE OLU that henceforth all of them MUST resolve never ever to discuss issues of national importance publicly, but with the sitting President over breakfast, lunch or dinner as the weightiness of whatever they say publicly often act as catalysts to heating up the polity. In a sane environment, former leaders never make public statements caculated to running down the sitting Presidents/Prime Ministers, no matter how the media try to force them to so do. All past Presidents/HoS MUST learn from other world leaders who as if taking an oath never criticise a sitting President openly. In the case of Nigeria, the Council of State meetings offer useful and an alternative avenues/opportunities.

Olu Obasajo is not a good party person, so a very bad example to the present and coming generations of Nigeria. He says Nigerian democracy is growing. Yes, I do agree with him that Nigerian democracy is growing when three infantile elders tore party card; yes, Nigerian democracy is growing with a man who had used a party to climb twice to the highest office in the land going to campaign against the same party! SHAME! OLU, SHAME ON YOU! SHAME! Again, I say shame on you unto eternity! Yes, I agree with our former President that Nigeria's democracy is growing with Nigeria's chocolate politicians changing camps constantly, which is what Olu Obasanjo himself has done.

Obasanjo should ask himself, were his friend Jimmy Carter in his shoes, what would he have done? Dance naked in the village arena tearing a card of his party? Did Obasanjo see what Tony Blair do for his Labour Party recently? Ed Miliband isn't his candidate, but his brother David, yet Tony Blair has been a solid Party supporter and stoutly defending his Labour Party, not really because of Ed, but because of country and his conviction for the Party principles, this is how to grow democracy and be a leading light to the present and coming generations and not through tearing a card and behaving like an excited kid at the market square, or with all Generals ganging up against a sitting President undermining that exalted office and the person of the sitting President with every General hollering at the market square like mobs: GENERALS WILL VOTE FOR BUHARI. So now that Buhari has once again clinched the DIADEM, what exactly is he going to do with it, and how will these hollering Generals and every Nigerian help him to succeed?

It is hereby recorded for the children of the coming generations of Nigerians and the nations of the world that Bad Loser Muhammadu Buhari did not win the elections according to the divine ordinance, but through bloodlettings and in the annals of humanity it will be recorded against him for posterity that he, Buhari rode back to power with the blood of God's children in his hands, whose cries have gone to Jehovah their Maker and the God of all creations. But must people realize their ambitions through the "soaking of the blood of dogs and baboons"?

Embarrassingly, Muhammadu Buhari campaigned to be elected Nigerian President when he has remained a regional bigot with his picture and those of Yakubu Gowon, Shagari, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Abubakar Atiku conspicuously displayed on the ACF's website, despite my many years of asking all of them to get out of the Arewa Consultative Forum and lead the nation as its elders and fathers. Shame on all of them then, for being very and highly partisan!

In a sane society, this overt partisanship by Buhari would have disqualified him from contesting as the APC's flag bearer in the just concluded voting exercises in order to rule the Nigerian nation once more as his impartiality is now highly in doubt because he and his other cohorts as named and shamed above have shown they are of the House of Arewa and NOT Nigeria, but had merely used the instruments of force to force their ways into the driver's seat as the Presidents/Heads of State of Nigeria at one time or another. The same applies to Bola Ahmed Tinubu who too has been using ethnic platforms to access power, both at the State and now national level. Ahead of time, the question needs be asked now whilst other Nigerians are still sleeping with others celebrating: BETWEEN LEKE OSINBAJO AND BOLA AHMED TINUBU, who will succeed Muhammadu Buhari as President - what pact/s have the two entered into unknown to Nigerians? Will Leke be watching his back in the next four years?

WHAT THEN IS ELECTIMIDATION?

By ELECTIMIDATION, I mean using the instruments of intimidation, force and unparalleled propaganda to elect political officials as the Association of Political Crooks (APC) and their Western collaborators have done in enthroning that vampire, Buhari, who is simply a socio-politico-economic-moral and pharisaical chichidodo.

BOKO HARAM FORGOT IT WAS EASTER...JUST INTENTIONAL OF MERE HAPPENSTANCE...HA, HA?

Again, I must not fail to ask the question as I did on Easter Monday, why have Boko Haram suddenly sheathed the sword, albeit, temporarily - is it because their son is about to enter the glass house, where Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his family would be leaving very soon - or it's just a happenstance?

If my memory has not failed me, since the House of Uthman Dan Fodio took back 'their divine power' Boko Haram had only struck once - in the eveining of Easter Monday after their strategists probably had read my article.

Whilst Nigerians and friends of Nigeria ruminate on this, can I ask Muhammadu Buhari to keep quiet and stop making policy pronouncements undermining the sitting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and competing for headlines and front pages with him until he is sworn in on May 29th, 2015 or is it now May 28th, 2015? If indeed, Buhari is a patriot which I doubt very much, now is the time for sober reflection for him and his team - now is the time for them to constitute a formidable think-tank of thinkers, intellectuals and professionals who will roam the world with their recruitment binoculars looking for who will help him get the job done on behalf of Nigerians, but certainly, it is not talking time for them like parrots.

Osinbajo claims to be a "Born Again Christian", this is the time for him and his boss to withdraw to a lonely place and seek the face of God concernning Nigeria and ask Him quietly from where and how they will first start in tackling the myriads of challenges facing Nigeria at this time and how they can re-package Nigeria to take her pride of place in the comity of nations once more.

Lest I forget, Leke's greatest achievements in that exalted office will be to get Nigeria out of the Organization of Islamic Conference and the Developing-8, since he made them issues during his campaign.

Still on Boko Haram, Buhari who had as is characteristic of him snubbed the Press in Nigeria to give foreign media interviews did tell Sky News what the Jonathan administration ought to have done to stop Boko Haram. Interestingly the question this has elicited from me is: IS THIS A PATRIOT TALKING?

What manner of man would not seek to help put off the fire in his family compound whilst one of his brothers is the rotational head of that family, but will wait for upward of six years seeing the house being razed down by a universal conflagration, until when he is handed the key to the family house as the NEW HEAD OF THE FAMILY? Shame! Shame on you, Mr President-elect! Again I say a very big shame on you Muhammadu Buhari. You have now got the key to the family house - no more soaking of dogs and baboons in blood? What a bad loser you have been, GMB! And this has earned you the ignominious suffix from us: BAD LOSER! Henceforth this will be used by us after your name: MUHAMMADU BUHARI, BL.

Those who have excitedly and jubilantly proclaimed "our democracy is maturing"; "Change indeed, has come", "It's a revolution," should take a pause and listen to Major Kaduna Nzeogwu:

"Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10

percent; those that seek to keep the country divided

permanently so that they can remain in office as

ministers or VIPs at least, the tribalists, the

nepotists, those that make the country look big for

nothing before international circles, those that have

corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political

calendar back by their words and deeds."

So what really has changed since January 15, 1966, except that one dangerous group of rogues and crooks have over the years been handing over to more and more and more dangerous crooks and rogues...as it was in the beginning; is now and ever shall be, excepting when the fundamentals have been identified and addressed.

The APC-Jega organised ELECTIMIDATIONS have thrown up yet again the often ignored fundamentals which instead of identifying, addressing and restructuring them, have often been used by successive militry and political officials as mere opportunities to exploit by them to divert attention from key issues of national importance by organising such fraudulent, money-guzzling, time, space wasting and energy sapping conferences.

The funamentals the electimidations have thrown up/exhumed/resurrected and why Buhari cannot fight corruption:

My readers should watch out soon for these fundamentals and reasons why Muhammadu Buhari is merely deceiving Nigerians regarding his much trumpeted fighting of corruption...but what deal has Buhari with the USA regarding military ties/military base in Nigeria?

Buhari has just this week to distribute to Nigerians his blueprint on how he intends to tackle the political leprosy - CORRUPTION - in Nigeria, which must be a booklet he had written prior to the time of his dreaming to come back to power to help Nigeria tear down the wall of corruption, the first print/edition of which must be dated 1985?

Watch it Nigerians: The hawks, wild donkeys, dragons and the artic bears are already checking into hotels in Abuja!

To be continued.
